Forum:Federal States/Eastern Coordinator Vacancy
Fluffr_Nuttr has announced that they are stepping down as Eastern Coordinator, while remaining an active stateowner and New Carnaby coordinator. As a result, the Eastern Coordinator role is now vacant, and our established vacancy procedure will now occur. Any mapper who is interested in the role should complete the questionnaire and submit their responses to TheMayor by 8 Aug 2025. I will post responses here as they come in.
As part of the upcoming August omnibus ballot, each applicant will be subject to a vote of confidence by FSA mappers, which the admin team will consider as part of selecting a new Eastern Coordinator. 5 - How frequently do you log into OGF? 4-6 times a week
6 - As FSA Project Coordinator, what would be your top three priorities? 1- Ensuring regional coherence in geography 2- Organizing regional rail transportation systems spanning every single active state 3- Mapping out the gaps in the routes and solving FS highway references
7 - Do you currently map anywhere outside the FSA? Yes, Sonnenburg in West Uletha
8 - If you answered "yes" to Question 7, if the OGF admin team required you to step down from any or all other OGF projects before allowing you to become the new FSA Coordinator, would you still accept the role? Yes
9 - Briefly describe how you would handle a disagreement between two neighboring stateowners. I would first understand what caused the disagreement and figure which option makes the most sense (in the case that mixing both isn't an option or unreliable). I would attempt to prioritize the version that fits in with the region better, asking the neighboring stateowners for their say in the matter, or whichever is more realistic.
10 - What is your favorite part of being a part of the FSA project? Being able to be part of a large collaborative project with other users is something that motivates me a lot to map, and is the reason why the FSA is so well mapped.
