History

1000-1400

All that is known from this time is that there was a tribe of less then 10,000 people called the "Karvo" and they spoke a language similar to Ingrish. Presumably an Ingrish ship landed there years before when they were probably just a single town with 100 people.

1400-1500

Data shows around this time the Karvo tribe had 15,000 people.

Ingrish Colonization

Around 1420-1430 about 150 Ingrish colonizers find the tribe and colonize it. Not much was known about them and even though their language sounded similar it still was enough to have problems communicating.

A few years after the first ships brought colonizers to the area they send another about 200 people.

1500-1600

Many Ingrish people have started mixing with the Karvo causing problems on counting how many Karvo people there are. Estimates from the time say anywhere from 18,000 to 20,000. They also have translated the language to the point they can understand them fluently.

1553

In 1553 the Ingrish start working with the Karvo to make a large city called "Berbest". The city center has changed over the years south-ward and has now moved about one mile.

1582

In 1582 The Ingrish started talking about a "Second City" on the island that will be called "Casswick". Many speculate that they made these things to prep to take the nation and make it their own.

1600

By 1600 the Karvo have really started to fade out and stagnate in growth due to most now becoming Ingirsh people.

1600-1700

Berbest and Casswick now have 18,000 and 4,000 people respectively. This is also the time when people start calling the area Karvo from the tribe.

It could have been higher but many people spread out and made their own settlements. Due to the now days size of the nation they only ever made it out 50 miles maximum.

1700-1800

1700-1710

The people of Karvo send a letter to the Ingrish about independence.

In 1707 they held a referendum for independence. 84% said yes. In 1708 the people of the Karvo territory became the country of Karva.

1800-1900

Berbest and Casswick now have 44,000 and 8,000 people respectively.

1900-2000

The 1950 "Civil War"

In 1950 a man in East Karva somehow rounded up 6,000 people and made a small revolt. Many people say why the revolt happened is this man somehow believed a communist Karva would be better. For how he got 6,000 people behind him, we will never know. But what he did to the slowly growing tourism industry did hit them a bit. loosing about 30-50% of their tourism the year after.

Aftermath

It took Karva 10 years to get back to what they were making before the "Civil War".

Humor

Years after the even is still talked about and has been turned into many pieces on comedy.

Economy Growth

Around 1964 Karva starts investing in its industrial sector heavily causing large growth to the tiny nation. Albeit compared it to the growth of other nations economic booms Karvas was extremely small but respective to size it was really large.
