OpenGeofiction:Superlatives

Superlatives are claims such as:

World’s biggest… World’s largest… World’s highest… World’s tallest… World’s fastest… World’s most famous… World’s most popular… World's most important... World's most advanced...

Instead of using ’superlatives’ like this to describe your country (or something in it) as being better than everyone else, please use language like:

one of the world’s biggest… one of the largest… in the world among the world’s highest… some of the world’s tallest… very fast world famous extremely popular highly important considerably advanced

Same goes for "best on the continent," "best in the region," etc.

Examples:

• Bad: Mycountryland is home to the most advanced economy in the world and the world's largest population. Its capital is the most important city on the continent. Every year it hosts the region's biggest musical event starring the most famous performers from around the globe. This is the oldest concert series in existence, and it draws a larger audience than any other event on television. It was the first concert series to ever be broadcast on television.
• Good: Mycountryland is home to one of the world's most advanced economies and a very large population. Its capital is among the most important cities on the continent. Every year it hosts a major musical event starring some of the most famous performers from around the globe. This is one of the oldest concert series in existence, and it draws an extremely large television audience. It was among the earliest concert series to ever be broadcast on television.
