:Hi Ty, the Federal States already has a research base in the Southern Islands called <span class="plainlinks">[https://opengeofiction.net/node/189476999 Tranquility]</span>. Greetings. I'm forming an exploratory committee for my proposal.
I want to map a research station in the Southern Islands on behalf of the Federal States of Archanta. The research station would be located on a flat area in the archipelago. In universe, the station would be operated by a consortium of institutions: including government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and leading universities. The research facilities would consist of telescopes, living facilities, offices, and possibly more.

- Hi Ty, the Federal States already has a research base in the Southern Islands called Tranquility. Anyways, If you're talking about adding an observatory to the base, I think that makes sense, seeing how there are several observatories/telescopes located in the South Pole. --IiEarth (talk) 20:06, 26 December 2022 (UTC)
