AR071 - Uralila (Officially the Republic of Uralila)

Uralila has a high population. its a high income economy and a developed country. with a GDP (nominal) of around 1.7 trillion. Its cities have massive highway systems. huge metropolitan areas. and towering skyscrapers. around 60%+ of people live within the northern lowlands.

	A brief description of the intended culture and language

the countrys official and most spoken language is Spanish. i dont know about the culture tho

• Hi, AR071 is explicitly identified for Spanish language mapping, in New World style, in both OpenGeofiction:Archanta and the overview map. So, English language mapping isn't going to work. You also do not have any recent mapping, nor have you supplied any examples above. Perhaps a Beginner territory would be better at this stage? It would allow you to build up experience and a portfolio of mapping for a future application. Thanks/wangi (talk) 12:49, 30 October 2024 (UTC)

I do not know Spanish or have a Spanish keyboard. I would have to rely on Google translate. Which I don’t mind. I changed the language to Spanish.

I left OpenGeoFiction due to stress caused by not being able to get a territory. Additionally I mapped months ago here https://opengeofiction.net/#map=12/-11.3642/169.0718&layers=B

BG territories are too small and don’t suit my needs.

This is the discussion section of the application, it's what we're doing. The comment about the language was intended to have you think about alternative territories, not to force use of translation. I wouldn't recommend that.

The territory application process does try to balance the desire of a user to have a territory without constraints, versus our overarching project goal to "to craft a fictional world, set in modern times and with an emphasis on realism". Unfortunately, for you, that means just getting a territory "no strings attached" and being able to map "a high income economy and a developed country. with a GDP (nominal) of around 1.7 trillion... massive highway systems... huge metropolitan areas... and towering skyscrapers" isn't going to be possible. You need to dial it all down, focus on realism. Or you're just going to continue to feel frustrated.

Owning a territory isn't the only way to map - you can also look at participating in one of the many collab projects. Thanks/wangi (talk) 13:45, 30 October 2024 (UTC)

Listen. i know that some things aren't possible. but i need a territory to map. the blue territories are full or aren't English. collab projects are still with other people. i want to work in a territory i personally own. i dont want to deal with other people editing my stuff. i have been trying to learn over the past few months to get a territory that is NOT a BG territory. additionally i am Autistic and have ADHD. Also. i have been mapping Fictional countries on paper since the pandemic began in 2020.

so. if i get a territory (as long as its suitable for my needs). i can motivate myself like i did during covid.
