An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. With the exception of Beginner territories, you should always create a sketch map to illustrate & explain your plans. You can add a link to this (hosted on imgBB, Postimages or similar, but not imgur.com)

Nistkia is a rather cold and flat country.

The winters some years are harsh, sometimes really snowy. Winter temperatures: -9 to 7 °C, 15 to 44 °F.

The summers are soft, with a lot of rain during the beginning. Summer temperatures: 17 to 25 °C, 62 to 77 °F.

June and July are considered the "rainy time of the year", due to rain measuring bars reaching 110mm.

The areas near the lakes are more used for farming, so forests are sparse.

Meanwhile lands on the other side of the country are more forested, since they aren't suitable for farming.

On the far north, near the Saave border, some 500-1000m mountains are located.

The north of the country is swallowed by dense taigas, booming the forestry industry.

A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

The country is broken up into 10 krājowizna's, they resemble the IRL polish voivoderships.

On the lower level there are karszt's, which control smaller areas and have lower power.

Then, there are the small starnô's. They are the smallest and have the least power of all the three.

Nistkia is a well-developed country, due to good governments, membership in the EgU, well-placed topography and great development chances that got used.

It has strong political ties with Audrine. The countries have a long history of trading and helping each other out (both economically and in wars).

The areas near big cities are rich, so infrastructure isn't lacking.

The countryside isn't neglected, with the local governments helping them by investing in the villages and towns.

The lands near the lakes are strongly turned to tourism, with many towns being popular summer (and winter) destinations.

Dear, Filosiq, first and foremost, since West Uletha has a lot of territories, I have applied a self-policy of not adding more territories to it. With that, I would personally prefer if you request the entire territory of UL14f as it is right now. You would have to update your proposal/plan a bit, the numbers as well, but I wouldn't require you to map extra in order for a larger territory. Do you accept this proposal?
Your mapping looks incredibly good, and I am very pleased to see that. It is also fitting for the theme you want to map.
There are some issues though. Given your mapping quality and (I assume) good level of understanding of geography basics I will expect from you to adapt them:
  • Your country can't be a 'warm' country, given how far north it is. You can see the territory's location relative to the real world here. I suggest looking at the climate chart of the city of Tomsk for comparison, as well as the Egalian region card as a reference. The territories south of you, including mine, already agreed upon a rather cold and harsh climate.
  • Please verify the population density of your territory and once again remember how far north this territory is. It is wise to discuss those details with your potential neighbors and other active mappers in the region.
  • Can you specify what kind of conlang is Nistkrian, please? I am very glad you are going for a conlang, but I'd like to know some specifics in order to balance out the cultural scheme of West Uletha. Thanks! ⸺ Bixelkoven (talk) (West Uletha Admin) 13:44, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
Hey Bixelkoven, thank you for replying.
First off, I accept your proposal. I will change up the numbers to fit the whole territory more, and I would be happy to claim the whole territory.
Second, I have looked into the region's climate more and discovered that mine does not really fit in. In that case, I will change the climate of the land to fit in more. Third, in regard to your question, it is Kashubian (Polish) mixed with German and Baltic influences.
The dominant languages map shows this territoey split by polish, czech and baltic languages.
I have imagined some slavian tribes either wandering off and exploring with the "I wonder what's behind that hill" principle, or joining along baltic proto-slavian tribes and settling mid-way to Audrine.
I look forward to your response. Filosiq (talk) 15:44, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
Thanks. I am glad we managed to find an agreement. ⸺ Bixelkoven (talk) (West Uletha Admin) 12:40, 10 June 2025 (UTC)
