The Territory ID (from OpenGeofiction:Territories, e.g. AR123a) and proposed name of the country

UL32f Selanya

File:Noun Project Map icon 1463108.svgPhysical geography
An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. With the exception of Beginner territories, you should always create a sketch map to illustrate & explain your plans. You can add a link to this (hosted on imgBB, Postimages or similar, but not imgur.com)

Selanya's physical geography will consist of flat plains in the lower southeastern and southern coasts and a mix of farmlands and forests near its southern border. There are rolling hills and small mountain ranges in the northern and western regions of the country (the elevation will be 2,000 to 4,000m) The climate is mixed temperate, and it is warm during the summers and cool during the winters. During the spring and autumn seasons, there is heavy rainfall and during the summer it is more humid and dry with limited rainfall. During the winter season the temperature sometimes goes below 0 and snowfall rarely occurring in the lowland regions. Map of plan:https://ibb.co/L0ZGbW2

A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

Population:64 million people Selanya's economy runs on the extraction of raw materials including mining and natural gas extraction, agriculture also plays a prominent role in the economy. However, this is slowly evolving as the government invests in new jobs and green energy. Selanya is quite developed and rapidly evolving into a modernized first-world economy (currently similar Panama or Malaysia). 75% of the country's population lives in urban areas. Infrastructure is well maintained in the country. Selanya's government is a unitary semi-presidential republic with the parliament being elected every 2 years while the president is elected every 4 years. The parliament is bicameral. Many of the cities follow a grid system similar to that used in former British colonies and that used in Northern Japanese cities (e.g.Sapporo).

A brief description of the intended culture and language

Selanyan culture is akin to the culture of Tungusic peoples, the official language spoken is Selanyan which is a conlang loosely based on Tungusic languages (I haven't developed anything regarding the language yet). Alongside Selanyan around 87% of the country has a high proficiency in the Ingerish language. Selanya began in the 13th century as a group of tribes uniting together to form a tribal confederation, most of the country was nomadic during this time. However when the Ingerish discovered the region in the 15th century and slowly colonize the area. During this period, many of the tribes that live there begin moving towards agricultural practices. The 1805 Selanyan revolution leads to the overthrowing of Ingerish rule and the establishment of the new republic. The country mostly remains poor well into the early 20th century when economic progress begin with the discovery of natural resources. The Ingerish colonial government tries to convert the population to Christianity however only 12% of the population is Christian with traditional shamanistic beliefs being 45% of the population, Buddhism is practiced by 25% of the population and the rest are irreligious or atheist.

To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful.
The {{coord}}, {{node}}, {{relation}} or {{scalehelper}} templates can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - they result in nicely formatted links. Or you can paste in a URL.
