Territory ID and proposed name
The Territory ID (from OpenGeofiction:Territories, e.g. AR123a) and proposed name of the country

UL08c-11 - Unnamed for now  (Maybe Val de Bloir?)

An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. With the exception of Beginner territories, you should always create a sketch map to illustrate & explain your plans. You can add a link to this (hosted on imgBB, Postimages or similar, but not imgur.com)

Climate

I imagine the climate to be Cfb, a warm temperate humid climate with the warmest month lower than 22°C over average and four or more months above 10°C over average.

Landscape

Topography

A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

Mapping Style

Area used for inspiration: mainly the region of Champagne and the province Centre - Val de Loire

Territory Demographics and Economic Development

I estimate the total population to be around 1.4m people, with the capital’s metro (Sarbourg) having 250k-300k people. The economy of this province would be mainly focused on agriculture and wine production, similar to the Loire valley in France. However, in many towns there would be a significant presence of industrial areas, due to the ease of transportation of the province’s location as well as very flat terrain.

A brief description of the intended culture and language

Language would obviously be French, I imagine the culture to be similar to Champagne. Since it is a collab one language country, I don’t think anything else is necessary.

To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful.
The {{coord}}, {{node}}, {{relation}} or {{scalehelper}} templates can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - they result in nicely formatted links. Or you can paste in a URL.

  • I would gladly accept suggestions for the name of this province, as I think Val de Bloir sounds a little too much like the real life province of Centre - Val de Loire. What3089 (talk) 17:27, 22 July 2024 (UTC)
