The Territory ID (from OpenGeofiction:Territories, e.g. AR123a) and proposed name of the country

UL14f - Seenoland

File:Noun Project Map icon 1463108.svgPhysical geography
An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. With the exception of Beginner territories, you should always create a sketch map to illustrate & explain your plans. You can add a link to this (hosted on imgBB, Postimages or similar, but not imgur.com)

Much of the landscape is flat and rugged, with a few inland mountain ranges. The nation is also heavily populated with lakes, rivers, and grasses.

A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

The nation has a population of roughly 5.3 Million, with the nation’s capital and largest city, Kaarvas, holding around half of the nation’s population in its metro area. The nation’s economy mainly revolves around fishing and tourism, with Kissa Fjords National Park being the largest tourist destination. The large urban centers and most municipal seats are mostly newer cities that are planned using grids, while the rural towns usually consist of more organic roads which are rarely paved and they frequently do not have certain essential services. Most of the nation is empty fields, with most of the population being urban.

A brief description of the intended culture and language

Seenoland was inhabited by the Seeno (Finnic Conlang) people for thousands of years. It was historically influenced by Suria, but they have recently attempted to distance themselves from anything Surian to form a more distinct national identity.

To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful.
The {{coord}}, {{node}}, {{relation}} or {{scalehelper}} templates can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - they result in nicely formatted links. Or you can paste in a URL.

Neither of these examples are that expansive or detailed because I’m waiting for a more permanent territory to add more detail.

  • See no land. Really? /wangi (talk) 12:07, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
  • That was a complete coincidence, I just wanted to create a Uralic-sounding word but it happened to resemble those English words, if you’d like I can refer to the nation using their endonym, Seenonmua. Berdly (talk) 13:46, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
