States and regions

Eshein is devided into two states; Atelfain and Keswerg, and two regions; Angela and Ao̊den Islands. Each state or region has its own "Staat/regyonho̊s", a bicameral legislature body that contains the "Staat/regyonret" (State or region's Council) and the "Ho̊s av Vertretongen" (State or region's House of Representatives).

Atelfain

The State of Atelfain is one of the two states of Eshein. The state was founded in 1742, with the signing of the New Colsex Treaty. The Treaty was an one-side agreement of the New-Colsexish Ingrans in which they divided the Colony of New Colsex to the two provinces, in order to prevent conflicts. The Ingran treaty forced all the Eshens from Keswerg to move to the south to Atelfain as part of "rearranging" the colony. It is one of the reasons why Kalmish is still spoken there and not in Keswerg. It's capital city is Imperium is also the largest in the state. Atelfain is divided into 4 Krayks: Estberayk, Leykenland, Midatelfain and Sutlanden.

Krayks

The name "Krayk" comes from the Kalmish word "Kreis" [ˈkrɑːɪs], meaning district. Each of the states has 4 krayks. Atelfain is divided into the krayks of; Sutlanden, Leykenland, Midatelfain and Estberayk. Keswerg is divided into the krayks of; Nortryvaar, Madelaynleyk, Fenter, and Fyordberayk.
