I'm redoing my capital city, and I've found that for the downtown area my mapping turns out a lot better if I draw it by hand first. So I've drawn out my plan on a screenshot of the area of the map in which the city will be located, and I've scanned the paper and made it into a .png file. Is there any way that I can use that image file as an overlay for my mapping so that I can essentially "trace" my hand drawing onto the map?

I'm redoing my capital city, and I've found that for the downtown area my mapping turns out a lot better if I draw it by hand first. So I've drawn out my plan on a screenshot of the area of the map in which the city will be located, and I've scanned the paper and made it into a .jpg file. Is there any way that I can use that image file as an overlay for my mapping so that I can essentially "trace" my hand drawing onto the map?

Thanks!
