Proposed name: OclonOclon, a mostly flat state that lies above level, has some elevated areas ontop hills in the southernmost part of the state, near Inconvenience Lake. Climate is fairly typical, it has all 4 seasons (winter, summer, fall & spring).

Most of the state consists of a lot of farmland (consistent with midwestern USA) with a lot of smaller communities. However the capital city, Oclonia City, would be a metro area with a few suburbs surrounding the city. Oclonia City metro area can be found towards the center of the state. Oclonia City would encourage the use of public transit as well as walking and/or riding bicycles to get around. The public transit bus system would run 24/7 all around the city meanwhile the subway system is somewhat limited.  There is a canal system running through downtown Oclonia City, the canal connects Lake Sauganas and Lake Betaouais. There is also a canal found connecting Lake Seneppi and Lake Sauganash. There would be outside train connections for use when traveling from Swanashaw, Barre Harbor and Varnel (working with neighboring states to get connections made, of course). There will be motorways statewide with the primary motorway running from Marketville through Oclonia City to Varnel. There will also be other motorway connections going from the main motorway to Barre Harbor, as well to connect with a motorway that runs through the state to the southeast (AR120-57). There would be a passenger & freight train line running in near-parallel with the motorways.

>climate: subtropical in coastal areas, temperate in hilly areas

>topography: hilly a few miles inland but gets flatter the closer to the coast with some land reclamation from the 21st century onward to support urban population growth

Grand Basin may not show that much experience but here are some areas on OSM I’ve spent alot of time on:

>demographics: 94,500 people residing in the country as of the latest estimate (30% Lorredian ethnicity, 23% native ethnicity, 17% Barohu ethnicity, 15% Yuethon ethnicity, 15% other ethnicities - similar case to irl Monaco where the native ethnicity's a minority in its own country)
City of DeKalb https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=13/41.9292/-88.7517

>economic development: high nominal GDP per capita, makes most of its money from tourism, gambling, and tea exports, home to an internationally renowned banking institution
City of Aurora: https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=17/41.76440/-88.36907 (Current project)

>land occupation: areas closer to the coast have higher population density than those further inland
Village of Lee https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=16/41.7951/-88.9413

>infrastructure: one major motorway connection that links the country's road infrastructure with Lorredion to the south and Barohu to the north - more details on this later

apologies if I don't have much in the way of mapping relevant to the kinda country I'm requesting to be able to map in this territory since I scrapped a lot of what I mapped in my BG territory before doing this but anyway for urban mapping I wanna show you this: (it's still got that incomplete look and feel but at least it's better than nothing hehe (/▽\))

(also I'd like to self-impose a challenge - to do some Monaco-esque urban mapping and map some Munnar-esque tea estates and plantations in my currently-held BG territory - that I hope to finish by the end of November and can't finish this month due to real life circumstances if this gets rejected the first time around; I'll then revisit this application once I've finished that self-imposed challenge by linking to the coords of all the mapping in BG03 for it ok ~\(≧▽≦)/~) Mikumikumapper (talk) 14:16, 26 October 2022 (UTC)

* Hi, can you check the link for the territory sketch please - it's missing. Thanks/wangi (talk) 15:19, 26 October 2022 (UTC)
** fixed it for ya q(≧▽≦q) (btw you can also check it by clicking here if you'd rather do so) Mikumikumapper (talk) 03:46, 27 October 2022 (UTC)
* Right, that looks off scale wise. That "land reclamation" is massive, a quick comparison using the scale helper: https://wiki.opengeofiction.net/util/map_scale.html?map=C/10.449815772075034/-8.69238/115.93055&map2=OSM/x/43.68553/7.40181&pxpt=0.2767&scale=400000 /wangi (talk) 11:09, 27 October 2022 (UTC)
** I have to admit it looks off scale-wise so I've decided to sketch some sorta different plan - hope this is scaled better ~\(≧▽≦)/~ (key for that new planning sketch: lime green for the hilly areas where all the tea estates are, crimson for the motorway links, light blue for the waterways, pale yellow for the beaches, light gray for land reclaimed to serve urban development, big red dot for where I plan to place the national capital city, smaller red dots for where I plan to place subnational capitals/other major settlements - notice the arrows at the ends of some of the waterways for where I'd have to ask permission from Lorredion's territory owner before extending them into that territory as well as the red dots in the lime green areas for settlements with their own tea estates ヾ(•ω•`)o) Mikumikumapper (talk) 04:31, 28 October 2022 (UTC) (ps also the smaller red dot west of the big red capital city dot's where I'm now planning to map a Monaco-esque urban settlement at so yeah (✿◡‿◡) - also I'm still self-imposing the sorta challenge I mentioned earlier in my app where I wanted to have mapped some Monaco-esque urban mapping and map a Munnar-esque tea estate settlement in my BG territory by the end of this November in case this app gets closed after my reply ok ( ̄y▽, ̄)╭ )

To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful
The coord template can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - it results in a nice formatted link. Or you can paste in a URL.

I recently spent lots of time creating the village of Grand Basin, a small community with a mid-western feel to it.

Grand Basin can be found here: https://opengeofiction.net/#map=13/-35.7658/157.3218

Grand Basin may not show that much experience but here are some areas on OSM I’ve spent alot of time on:
