Unification and Federalization
Following independence, the territories originally operated under a weak, decentralized confederation. However, escalating cross-border skirmishes and structural governance failures prompted a unified convention between early factional parties. Recognizing that a loose alliance was insufficient to defend territory and protect agricultural commerce, the states drafted a centralized federal constitution. This document permanently consolidated the sovereign states under a single executive, judicial, and legislative body to guarantee regional defense and secure private property rights.

Archantan Ingerland is situated at geographic centerpoints near latitude -25.8033 and longitude 163.5487. The federal republic is divided into eight constituent states, each maintaining individual state charters and local law enforcement networks coordinated federally under joint transportation and defense acts.

Pre-Ulethan History
The earliest inhabitants of the Deodecan territory were various Native Archantan (or Native Astrasian) groups that prehistorically migrated from North Archanta. These tribes not forming any formative body, innovation, invention or other civilized traits were not discernible as to what tribe was a part of the area prior to the formation of the country. Furthermore, the former tribes were warring parties against each other and were in historical terms, occupiers of each other, therefore the country does officially not see itself as an occupier and has instituted as such into its constitution. However, any state is authorized to recognize Indians, those they name as indigenous to the area prior to statehood. Notwithstanding, no tribe shall be recognized as a “first nation” as Archantan Ingerland is the first nation.
Other area countries have recognized the Indians, however, the country has not taken a position as such, as these former savages caused major atrocities against the colonizing settlers.
Native groups have been retrospectively grouped by geographic area to a total of six groupings. The North Horn Indians (Ingerish Asperia and Katichtishan), Central Prairie Indians (Central Deodeca), Northeast Indians (Peralia and part of -11), Island First Nations (Queen Adelaide Island), Lake Indians (Nawagan and Agawaskway) and Alpine Indians (Ateria and Ouanatchkan). These groupings refer to individual tribes that shared somewhat common cultural traits with each other.
Former savages largely lived off the land and commonly hunted bison, deer, rodents, insects and fowl. Fishing, by means of hands as these people were very primitive, was also very common. Tribes usually lived along rivers or near water areas. Canoes and boats were constructed using bison or deer hide and were used for transportation and fishing.
There were many calamitous and tumultuous interactions between the indians and the colonizers, sometimes taking scalps, having carnal knowledge with the woman without their consent and then discarding children and babies as if they were vermin. Very little trading was found amongst most members as they were very petulant and uncivilized.
For thousands of years, the former savages warred against each other, cannibalizing what gains the others had. In fact, there were actual reports of cannibalism, however, not confirmed as such. These people lived in a veritable warring and dark society prior to their discovery. They were allowed to be converted to the true one and to become civilized, however, many preferred to succumb to their savage innerisms and not covert or proclaim the truth.

Archantan Ingerland is a federal republic composed of eight states. There is also one administrative federal district, Donaldton. Wherein a county was taken from Dreagan and given to the nation for the administration of the nation. The District of Donaldton was formulated by taking an entire county so that the capital, executive residence, naval and marine forces, a small contingent of the army can be placed within the district, along with the thought that business and residents would find the district very attractive. As such, the reality is that today the district is a lively thriving district with strong competition for the surrounding suburbs, which are also strong and thriving.

In the spirit of fine coach building and from the excesses of the Gilded Age gave rise to a awe inspiring and profitable auto industry. Fine luxury automobiles are manufactured in the Dannaford area, and a state of the art facility in Poplar Branch, Hasker Motor Company. Hasker motors is capable of producing BEV and ICE vehicles in both right and left hand drive on the same line without interruption, the line capable of building in batches, sequences all in automation from a build of materials. Most other lines need to have spurs, stops or branches or may only build in batches.
Science and technology
Deodeca has a renowned technology industry, with some provinces focusing on premium consumer electronics, renewable solutions, and telecommunications. Out of Southern Deodeca have come many advanced tech companies including Argueil Telecom; a major provider of fibre optic, mobile telephony, and electronic communication. Within the nation this has fostered a large research and development industry with universities tailored to medical and scientific research being funded by philanthropists such as Hewett B. Whyte who used his fortune to build new labs in the early 2000s. Topping worldwide rankings such as the Global Research Consortium's annual publishing, Deodeca consistently ranks highly among other Archantan nations spending approximately 3.1% of GDP nominal on R&D alone.

The country lacks a centralized national road network maintained directly by the federal government. Instead, interstate roadway systems are coordinated by individual member states through the **Amalgamated Transportation Network of States (ATNS)**.
Following a congressional act, the ATNS was granted exclusive statutory authority to coordinate, promulgate, and enforce uniform numbering conventions and traffic rules for federal roadway networks. To date, the commission manages two distinct highway networks.
Unified System of Highways
Established in 1926 to accelerate the paving, grading, and modernization of interstate corridors, the Unified System of Highways connects roads built by member states into a single, cohesive network under a shared route designation.
Grid and Numbering Conventions
- Odd-Numbered Highways: Run north-to-south. Route numbering begins with U 1 in the east and increases progressively to U 101 in the west.
- Even-Numbered Highways: Run east-to-west. System numbers range from 0 to 100, progressing from north to south.
- Note: The commission has permanently reserved Route 0 and Route 100 for the exclusive operational use of the Border Patrol; these numbers are strictly prohibited from being publicly posted.

- E / W: Directional splits indicating Eastern or Western branches (e.g., U 1E, U 1W).

Interlink highway system.
The second system was developed in 1949, however, the ATNS board as directed by Congress did not award any funding until 1954. Whereas the Interlink system is a high speed, full controlled access, and interlinking system. Standards include that new roadway construction must, if the terrain allows, allow for higher speed limits. The original intent is to transport commerce and defense, vehicle leisure travel as tertiary.
Railways
The rail magnates shaped the nation as it is today. However, society in this era no longer relies on the rails to traverse the countryside. The denizens prefer their independence and high vehicle ownership, prefer to utilize their motor vehicles in daily activities. However, commercial use of the rails is still a leading industry and hauling goods, raw materials, and grains still occurs to this day.
Maritime
The shipbuilders and whalers colonized the Polkseah area. They developed a society built upon the timer, mills, forages, shipwrights, boatswains, captains and whalers. The state had a society built upon competition with fine regattas, rigging and building the fastest ships. Said ship speed was necessary not just for the competitive spirit of the race, but necessary to escape the ever-changing winds and currents.
Modern fisheries are still a great part of the economy of Polkseah, however, the liberals having greatly influenced their politics having given into so many regulations has caused some of the fisheries to base out of Dreagan in lieu of Polkseah. However, Polkseah bays and estuaries have some of the finest hauls of clams, oysters and game fish.
Ship building is still a mainstay of the economy. However, no longer tied to the timberlands, the shipbuilding culture is now into creating large ocean-going vessels and ships for military service.
