The OpenGeofiction wiki site was taken offline for a few hours due to a high-risk security vulnerability being disclosed: CVE-2026-109618 & CVE-2026-109619. PHP is a critical bit of software, used widely across the internet. Following the release of a patch from PHP, the site has been updated and service resumed. We have audited the system and are confident it was not compromised.
