If one creates a new airport meeting all of the requirements in Index:Aviation, how are they intended to add it to the list? datmapper (talk?) 04:32, 28 September 2026 (UTC)

It is automatic. If you expect something to be listed and it isn't then expand the errors section underneath and review. /wangi (talk) 06:11, 28 September 2026 (UTC)

Also it might take a while to show up. If it still doesn't show up after a day or two, then check the errors and also the tagging of your airport. Some common mistakes include the labelling of runways, duplicate codes, or forgetting to tag the building terminal as an airport terminal.--Zhenkang (talk) 07:46, 28 September 2026 (UTC)

The tagging is all covered in Help:Tagging#Airports, which is linked from the aviation index. But this isn't a "wait a day and see" situation. The lists are updated hourly, just before the hour. /wangi (talk) 09:44, 28 September 2026 (UTC)
