How long should I keep road segments under construction? Are folks looking at areas frozen in time or are the continously building? I have some roadway segments under construction for over nine years. My first thoughts are that I really wanted to build the area up to what was intended. That way any construction could then be more natural. Such as removing free movements, alignments different from the original and the like. This way the right turn only points look like they were needed and the other items, curbing , calming and changing lane movements around have stubs and the like.
