A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

The mapping style will be heavily inspired by Tonga.

The economy will mainly rely on agriculture and tourism. Most people will live in cities on the coast. The population would likely be rather small, maybe 50,000-200,000. The infrastructure is somewhat developed, although it is less developed outside of major cities. About 20-35% of the population is impoverished.

A brief description of the intended culture and language

The language will be Nitawanian, a conlang I made with phonology similar to that of Polynesian languages.

For a long time, the island had multiple tribes and followed a traditional religion. In the 1600s Castellanese explorers discovered the island and converted most of the island to Christianity. Following their arrival, the tribes unified and formed a democratic government which remains in place to this day.
