The Territory ID (from OpenGeofiction:Territories, e.g. AR123a) and proposed name of the country

UL13g Taterka (Republika Taterska [Taterka Republic])

Physical geography
An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. With the exception of Beginner territories, you should always create a sketch map to illustrate & explain your plans. You can add a link to this (hosted on imgBB, Postimages or similar, but not imgur.com)

The climate is around 20-30 degrees Celsius in summer and -10-0 in winter. In the east of the country, there are many small and larger tourist towns due to their access to the sea, and in the west there are mountains, which are not very high but are popular among the Traterans. The most important river is the Marien River, which flows through the capital city of Zgorle, whose official name is Lucjanopol, named after King Lucjan V. https://www.canva.com/design/DAHC_LBiDko/C_KgoRra-wzHet0tRcqjvw/edit?utm_content=DAHC_LBiDko&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=sharebutton

Human geography
A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

The mapping refers to Central Poland. It is a highly developed country, but there is also a lot of agriculture. The Najt region is heavily industrialized due to the “Future Technology Park in Najt” and the refinery in Wełnogród on the site of the former textile factory.

History & culture
A brief description of the intended culture and language

The Trateran tribe existed until 1777, when wars began and everything was destroyed. It was not until 1979 that social activist Wiesław Wujek, often referred to as the Phoenix, began to rebuild the state. Wujek died in 2013, and a giant statue of a phoenix was erected in his honor on the grounds of an abandoned slave prison.

Past mapping
To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful.
The {{coord}}, {{node}}, {{relation}} or {{scalehelper}} templates can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - they result in nicely formatted links. Or you can paste in a URL.

  • Hello. Looking over your work in BG09, I have a few comments that will be useful for a future application. First, you mention that there will be a lot of agriculture in your proposed territory, but you offer no agriculture or natural mapping in your sample. Please take some time to provide these, as it will better help assess the viability of the territory. A well-rounded application tries to show lots of different types of mapping that are relevant to the proposed territory. Second, the scale of things in BG09 is quite substantially off. For example, the distance between parallel streets is often around 300m, with maybe one or two buildings filling the entire space. Even the 'thinnest' buildings I've seen were around 80m or so in depth. Large, rectangular or trapezoidal buildings of 250m by 150m indicates that the proportions are a bit off when put down on the map. This is a major thing that will need to be addressed before any application will go forward for West Uletha. I suggest using the scale helper (accessible on Help:Portal) and figuring out a way to compare sizes in iD, such as the legend in the bottom left corner of the editing screen. The third thing to note is that you have not made a mapping edit in over two months, and your reference points are further back. I would suggest reinvesting some time in BG09 and working out the above issues first. Thanks. — Alessa (talk) 14:18, 5 March 2026 (UTC)
