Bonsoir, On m'a fait remarquer sur Discord qu'il n'y avait pas de société de chemin de fer pour le pays. Je propose donc la création d'une compagnie de chemin de fer avec l'organisation suivante :
- Nom : Régie Ferroviaire Vallonienne (RFV)
- Filiales :
- InfraRail (gestion de l'infrastructure)
- RFV Fret
- RFV Voyageurs (voyageurs, service client, gares)
- Services :
- Trains à grandes vitesse
- Trains inter-cités/inter-régionaux
- Trains régionaux (nom à trouver)
- Trains de banlieue (notamment pour les agglomérations de Nemans, Rivador, Rougain, Frandis, Arpigny)
Histoire: la RFV est né de la fusion de plusieurs grandes compagnies créées lors de l'essor du Chemin de Fer :
- La Régie Ferroviaire du Nord-Ouest Vallonien (NOV) ;
- La Société des Chemins de Fer de Nemans à Rivador (NR) ;
- La Compagnie des Chemins de Fer de l'Ouest (Ouest)
- L'Administration des Chemins de Fer de L'Est (Est)
- La Compagnie des Chemins de Fer du Sud (Sud)

Ces 5 compagnies ont fusionnées dans les années 1940 à la suite de la fermeture de lignes (dues à l'augmentation du trafic automobile) et à la faillite de la NR. La nouvelle RFV réorganise alors petit à petit le réseau en limitant la fermeture des lignes (financement public). Dans les années 1960, elle commence à imaginer des prototypes de trains à grandes vitesse afin de redonner un élan au train. En 1973, un premier train atteint la vitesse de 393,2 km/h. En 1977, une première ligne à grande vitesse ouvre entre Némans et Rivador. Plusieurs autres lignes à grande vitesse ouvriront après.

Good evening, Someone pointed out to me on Discord that there was no railway company for the country. I therefore propose the creation of a railway company with the following structure:
- Name: Régie Ferroviaire Vallonienne (RFV)
- Subsidiaries:
- InfraRail (infrastructure management)
- RFV Fret
- RFV Voyageurs (passenger services, customer service, stations)
- Services:
- High-speed trains
- Intercity/interregional trains
- Regional trains (name to be determined)
- Commuter trains (particularly for the metropolitan areas of Nemans, Rivador, Rougain, Frandis, and Arpigny)
History: The RFV was formed through the merger of several major companies established during the railway boom:
- The North-Western Vallonian Railway Authority (NOV);
- The Nemans to Rivador Railroad Company (NR);
- The Western Railroad Company (Ouest)
- The Eastern Railroad Administration (Est)
- The Southern Railway Company (Sud)

These five companies merged in the 1940s following the closure of lines (due to increased automobile traffic) and the bankruptcy of the NR. The new RFV then gradually reorganized the network, limiting the closure of lines (through public funding). In the 1960s, it began designing high-speed train prototypes to revitalize rail travel. In 1973, the first train reached a speed of 393.2 km/h. In 1977, the first high-speed line opened between Némans and Rivador. Several other high-speed lines would open later.

- Je trouve ça très bien et c'est une bonne chose de penser à ça pour que chacun puisse développer un réseau de chemin de fer qui inclus peut etre aussi d'ancienne gare qui étaient des terminus d'anciennes compagnies.
- I think it's a very good idea. Thus each mapper could map a railway network including maybe terminus stations hold by former compagnies in different cities. Newflanders (talk) 18:04, 12 September 2026 (UTC)
- Salut, Bonne idée pour le ferroviaire. Ca permettrait aussi de coordonner les lignes de type celles à grande vitesse au niveau national. Je vote pour.
