The Republic of Nuenman , commonly referred to as Nuen, is a country in southeast Uletha. Nuen spans 62,531 km² and has a population of approximately 21,632,004. Nuen borders Westway, Moyontawi, and the Eihan Gulf to the east; the Gulf of Volta to the north; Izaland to the west; and Belphenia to the south.
The country's capital is Kyuoi, with other major cities including Hijiya, Shishis, and Fuyuko-.
Since gaining independence from Ingrea in 1782, Nuen has had a turbulent history, characterised by the Independence Period from 1782 to 1921, and the Modern Period from 1921 to present day. The Independence Period saw a high level of instability and internal conflict between the different ethnic and religious groups. In 1921, Sansun Haim enacted the Modernisation Edict, implementing a tricameral parliament, confirming Nuenmian as the official national language, and Latin as its respective script. The Modern Period saw a high pace of growth and improvement of living conditions.
