Geography

Bashlam has a complex mountainous geography, ranging from 987m in the lower southeast portion of the Lakeland area, to 4557m in the southern mountain range that gave the name to the whole country, Bashlam or Башлам. It has 11 provinces for each of the 11 side valleys (the provinces are even named чІожаш, which means valleys in Bashlamian), which are then subdivided into municipalities or кІошташ. There are two federal-level cities (гІалаш), Æxkijn-Evla (Аьхкийн-Эвла) and Ċøxċar-ġal (Чоьхчар-ГІала). The names mean settlement of the Akkians and Rapid City respectively. The main valley starts near a 1793m pass, joins with the Rift-Iviran route and with the main river, and goes until the big lake in the southeast (placeholder name goes here idk what it should be). The 11 side valleys start either from the northern mountains, the southern mountains, or the western spur mountains.
