I would like to map in the BG12 territory. It’s not meant as a very long term project, rather I want to try out to map a little bigger territory in following order:
- Natural features which stay similar over centuries/millennials. (topography and hydrology e.g. Mountain ranges, drainage basins, rivers, lakes, coastline, islands, bigger valleys, gradient from mountain level to coast line)
- With the topography clearer I want to focus on where and why humans most likely settled in the past and mark out some areas.
- Imagine how these human settlements grew over time (medieval to industrialism) and how the settlements connect to each other with road and later railways.
- Do some mapping of bigger human changes on topographical and hydrological features (maybe open cast mining, land reclamation, straightening of meandering rivers to make them accessible to goods transportation, etc….)
I do not plan to go so much into urban micro mapping as I did in Lindel on the “New User And Practice Zone”. It’s rather to get a feeling how I would world-build a territory from scratch to practice for a territory application in West Uletha at a later point.

Details not yet clear. Probably inspired by Germany but less populated and developed. The geography comes first then I'll see what would fit.

| To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful. | |
| The {{coord}}, {{node}}, {{relation}} or {{scalehelper}} templates can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - they result in nicely formatted links. Or you can paste in a URL. |
