| Ta Seti's long and rich cultural heritage is an integral part of its national identity, with the earliest settlements along the Ar Delta dating back to the 5th millennia BCE. Ancient Ta Seti saw one of the earliest developments of human culture and society in world's history, with numerous dynasties of Kherpus reigning throughout its history and prevailing over failed colonization attempts. In 1947, the monarchy collapsed and the Republic of Ta Seti was established. The Republic conceded rights to Ingerland over their natural resources, which increased tensions and eventually started a civil war between the ''Hetian'' government and the ''Amnics'', an ultranationalist party and movement advocating for the nationalization of Ta Seti's resources and the exile of foreigns living in the country.

| The Amnics, formally referred to as the ''Community of Workers and Children of Amn'', defeated the Hetians in the civil war and effectively turned Ta Seti into a unitary one-party ultranationalist republic following their victory in 1954. The leader of the Amnics and, subsequently, the head of state of Ta Seti is the Kherpu, reminiscing the dynastical monarchs of the Ancient Ta Seti civilization.
