This page provides information for mapping motorways in Mecnya.

Overview

Mecyna uses a letter to identify motorways: according to The_Cute_Chick (TCC), there should be less than 26 motorways.

Ideally, there should be only five motorways (the Silverian Motorway was added later because to serve the large cities of Ostrabury and Delonix (the latter in Piscipula). Connecting expressways should instead use the tags highway=trunk and motorroad=yes, and National Highway numbers. Junction spacing should not be too dense, otherwise the motorways would suffer from congestion.

Do not use the United States road numbering schemes, because they are not compatible with the Mecynan numbering system.
