The coastal areas of the country are flat, There is a basin along the river. The inland area is mountainous.
It has a subtropical climate with a monsoon-influenced climate. Kirishima Islands（霧島諸島） is a tropical climate.

Mapping style is influenced by Japan.
Population is 27 million. 43% of population live in around the capitol. and 88% of The population is concentrated on the plains. GDP per capita is $39800.
National railway,Highway,and other road are very well maintained. In around the capitol and other city, Private railways exist.
The major industries in secondary sector is a automobiles, semiconductors, and Home appliances. Rice cultivation is thriving in the plains. In the basin, Fruit cultivation is popular. Video game,animation and music industry is very popular too.

Before 16th century, Austronesian languages is spoken in the western part of the territory. Japanese spoken in the eastern. but after unite,Japanese is spoken in this country. In Kirishima Islands（霧島諸島）, Unique dialect that Influenced by Austronesian languages is spoken.
Buddhist and Japanese shinto are Thriving in this country.
This country was united in the 16th century by Onpei Matsuba（松坡恩平）.
In 1880s,This country began industrializing. In 1910~1930s,Science and economics have developed greatly. In 1949, This country have transitioned to a democratic republic with a new constitution.
In Kirishima Islands, There were Indigenous peoples living. but in 1905, Kirishima Island is became Yosen territory.

Hello there! I will leave you with my observations as one of the main mappers in this part of Uletha (I map in Izaland, and I think I sent you a message in Japanese at the end of January). First of all, I am really happy to see the first official territory request from a Japanese, long-awaited in OGF! There have been many attempts by other users to create a Japanese-language territory, but lack of deep knowledge of the language (as a native speaker can have) has not yielded significant results so far, so I am very much looking forward to this! As for your application, I will leave the judgment to the local admin, who will comment soon, but my concern is that the area you have chosen may be a bit offset from the main Japanese area, which is more to the east. You may have noticed that there is an area called UL30c that actually resembles Japan. This will end up being the main Japanese language homeland. However, given the nature of OGF, we will probably have several Japanese territories, perhaps the result of the division of an ancient, vast kingdom. 候補地の周辺で地図を作成しているユーザー（華邦／Izalandという国のオーナーです）としてコメントをさせていただきます。 まず、初めて日本の方によるリクエストを見てとてもうれしく思います！ＯＧＦには色々な国のユーザーがいますが、日本人は今まで少なく（どころか、ほぼいなかったのです）、ネイティブスピーカーが持つ言語の知識なしにはなかなか現実的な日本語を使った国家の実績が残されてないので、非常に期待しております（背景の話をすると、私は長く日本に暮らしてきた欧米人です）。この領域申請自体に対するコメントに関しては、この後ウレサ大陸の管理者からコメント入ると思いますが、言わせていただければ、もしかしてお選びになった地域は若干「日本語エリア」より離れすぎているところが突っ込まれるかもしれません（もともとは南アジアっぽい文化圏だったため）。ちなみに、より東方で見ていただくと、日本の形をまねした半島があって、最終的にそこが「日本語が使われる国家」を代表する地域だと計画されています。ただ、ＯＧＦの自然性を踏まえて、日本語を使う国家が複数存在することには違和感がないと思います（例えば、かつて存在していた広大な国家がどんどんバラバラになったとか）。ちなみにちょっと前にＤＭさせていただいておりましたが、もしよろしければ、日本語でもいいのでなんでも相談してみてください。ご質問がありましたらご遠慮なく聞いてください。頑張ってください！--Izaland Terramorphing Committee (talk) 02:11, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
・コメントありがとうございます。日本人として、期待に応えられるようなマッピングをしていきたいです。そして、文化圏の事を考慮するならば、霧島諸島だけでなく、本土の西側でもオーストロネシアン言語が話されていた設定にしたほうが適切だと改めて思いました。この事を踏まえ、領土の歴史と文化を修正したいと思います。 --Pokenia eidan (talk) 03:58, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
Pokenia eidanさん、OGFへようこぞ！僕は日本語をちょっとしか話せないけど、あなたは簡単な日本語を書くと、分かります。英語で書いて続けると思います。。。 Thank you for your application. We are very glad you found us - we don't have many Japanese speakers so far, so we are very excited that you joined our project! I'm sure we will find a good territory that suits your plans. There are a few points about your application that I'd like to discuss:
- UL30e is adjacent to other Japanese speaking territories, so a Japanese territory would fit in well. Your concept for the history of the country also works well with the current plans for the region. In addition, you can also have a look at UL32e (east of Belphenia) or UL30c. UL30c is reserved for a future collaborative project, as Izaland already explained. But it would be possible to carve out either the eastern or western half into a private territory. If you would like to stick with UL30e, that is fine of course.
- Your sketch of the country is a great start! I encourage you to have a look at Help:Making realistic countries; on that page, there is a step-by-step tutorial. It's best to start by thinking about mountain placement, then about rivers, then about cities, and then about railways and highways. In your current sketch for example, the river looks little unnatural, because it follows the mountain ridge instead of flowing from the mountains to the ocean on a straighter path. Also, due to the tropical climate, there would likely be many more large rivers. If you want to stick with UL30e, please refine your sketch as explained on the help page. You can also come up with several different variants and discuss them here; be creative! Painting on screenshots as you did is fine, but if you prefer, you can also draw by hand and upload pictures of that.
- Your mapping in UL30cb and BG is a good start. I can see the Japanese style in the rice paddies and infrastructure. Also, you already use boundary relations correctly, that is very impressive for a new member. Before being given a permanent private territory, we usually ask new mappers to continue practicing in BG territories until you have mapped some more diverse examples of natural and urban mapping. You are already quite far in that regard. So, while we discuss your application, please continue building your portfolio! By the way: anything you map in your BG territory can be easily moved to your permanent private territory later on. I'm happy to assist with that.
