This state is primarily based on the Great Basin and Red-Rock country. It borders mountains on the eastern and southwest sides, and has many smaller ranges scattered throughout it. It's primarily a cold desert, and the landscape is going to stay much the same, but with a few changes depending on what I feel like.

| A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style |
Demographically, Desiray is primarily a combination of Germanic-based groups, with other Ulanthan groups in small enclaves around mining towns. Small sections of American Indian-equivalent majority exist on reservations. Economically, its most prominent industries are agriculture, mining, and tourism, but the northern coastal area is currently gaining a reputation as a headquarters for large companies. Towns in the state are primarily positioned along the north-south interstate corridor. I'm going to completely overhaul the local infrastructure and administrative design, with the exception of the Freeways and select other highways, because the current design doesn't fit the theme I'm going for. (By that I mean my predecessor left a huge mess and I need to clean it up now.)

| A brief description of the intended culture and language |
The primary culture and language is Ingrean, with several small native enclaves, as well as some larger ones.
Its first Ingrean settlements happened long before the FSA took control of the land, in the early 1800's, as part of an attempt by groups of southerners who were disgruntled with the way the country was being run to establish their own country. Due to political trouble, the country in question was annexed by the FSA, however, about 50 years after the first settlement.
During the late 1800's, numerous mining towns popped up, which led to the migration of numerous Ulanthans groups to the area.

| To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful. | |
| The {{coord}}, {{node}}, {{relation}} or {{scalehelper}} templates can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - they result in nicely formatted links. Or you can paste in a URL. |
I created the town of Crimson Cliffs, which is at the coordinates 12.82263, -114.10452. That's the sort of design the towns in my state will have.

- Are there any quick ways to wipe most of the region while not wiping the forests or motorways, or other things I don't want to wipe? It would be a pain to wipe each thing manually. And what about the big city to the north, Playa Gomez. I think it would need a ton of reworking and it would be easier to restart, but some person obviously put a lot of hard work into it. Are there any good ways to archive it somewhere else?
- Hi, check out our scale helper. You will also need to add a sketch map of your plans. Please also review the FSA project documentation and tie in your application to items discussed there. Your mapping isn't a bad start, but you are going to need to show more than the centre of a small town. Can you start with some rural mapping, consistent with what you are planning?
