Hello,

I'm Aiki, owner of Guai, new country under construction.

Parts of Guai was designed when it was located where Leresso now stands (in 2016?). Some features were moved with little to no change, some were designed carefully while others were created a bit haphazardly.
:Please fill in the information below to make a territory request.

Natural
*Kaila Noe
Lower the altitude of most peaks. Reduce & redesign/relocate the amount of glaciers and the snow line. Break the natural=wood areas in most places so that it defines the slopes.
*Rivers
Most main rivers were drawn in the first months after moving into the current location. They feature very little detail (e.g. a dozen of nodes for 50km).
*Coast
Some segments of Guai Coasts, for example on the Daks Islands need some refinement or a complete make over.
*Natural/Landuse
Except in some area, little time has been devoted to the countryside. Guai is Mediterranean country with a high population density. It should be reflected in acres of orchards and wheat fields dotted with small villages and very little forest once you've left the reliefs.

Man-made
257516 - Lévionnay
*Pirindi
Pirindi was first designed in its previous location with a main north-south axis for flows. Now being pretty much located in cul-de-sac, some changes are needed. Kicuán River, brought from previous Guai, has already been narrowed in most places but needs to be redesigned more thoroughly. Thoroughfare network should be rethought.
*Towns and villages
Location should be checked and main in/out road should be added
*Railways
Redesign railway system, especially between Pirindi and Vai.
*Roads
Redesign road system.
*Vai International Airport
Vai Airport was brought form former Guai. Many attempts have been made to adapt to its current location but I haven't found any satisfactory. Design should be rethought before moving ahead.

The official language of the province of Lévionnay is Franquese (French). The provinces of Sainte-Agnès and Lévionnay have always had strong cultural ties and their separation only dates from fairly recent times, the division corresponding above all to administrative imperatives rather than to a real cultural difference. Traces of human presence in the Balanque capital allow us to know that the urban center has been occupied for about 1500 years, and numerous archaeological sites throughout the province demonstrate that the sedentary human presence has existed for a long time in these territories.

https://www.opengeofiction.net/#map=10/-43.7765/151.1266&layers=B I mapped the city of St-Jean-de-Chance in Sainte-Agnès, with many suburbs and an urban area that extends well beyond the city limits. There are notably two airports, one of which is international, a military base, four hydroelectric dams, historical monuments, a complete transport network with metro, tram, regional trains, three major stations as well as a multitude of smaller ones as well as many points of interest. interest in hobbies, economics, administration, etc.

* Thanks for the application - two initial requests. First, can you suggest an alternative name: Lionnay is too similar to Lyonnais. Secondly, can you supply a sketch map to help illustrate the plans. I will also reach out to newflanders, the Ardencia coordinator, for their views. Thanks/wangi (talk) 10:14, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
* About the name of the territory, does "Lévionnay" in place of "Lionnay" could be suitable ? And about the plans, I drew two ones of topography and motorway but I couldn't import them. How can I do that ? Anyway, thank you for answering me. P Gaillard (talk) 16:02, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
** Thanks, I think that's a better option. You need to use a sharing site like https://imgur.com/ to share the sketch - upload and then paste in the URL here. Thanks/wangi (talk) 18:44, 29 August 2022 (UTC)

The Territory ID (from OpenGeofiction:Territories, e.g. AR123a) and proposed name of the country

AR045-14 - Lévionnay

Noun Project Map icon 1463108.svgPhysical geography
An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. It is advised to also create a sketch, you can add a link to this (hosted on imgur or similar)

Topography

The province includes four great plains: St-Rigaud and Chamarande, around Hotago Bay, around the present town of Conque and further inland in the municipality AR045-15a just south of the Saggamanches hills.

The province of Lionnay also includes mountain ranges: the hills of the Saggamanches run through the whole province. To the north of Chamarande, this massif is particularly high, and reaches on certain peaks more than 3000m of altitude.

To the north of these peaks, the Massif du Chanceux is much lower. It covers almost all of the municipality AR045-15d as well as territories of the province of Sainte-Agnès.

From a hydrographic point of view, most of the rivers leave from the North to join the ocean in the South with the exception of the river currently named 21005499 which joins the Miticonce River at Labelle (Sainte-Agnès).

Climate

The climate of the province is a continental climate, cold in winter and rather warm. The mountain ranges being quite numerous, there are mountain climates in the northern part of the country, in particular with glaciers around relatively high peaks.

Landscape

The landscapes are very similar to those of Sainte-Agnès, between plains composed of agricultural land and meadows, hills and medium mountains largely covered with forests, coastline with large beaches and even a bit of high mountain with more rocks and some glaciers.

A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

The province of Lévionnay hosts a very large human population, around four to eight million people. Most of this population is distributed on the coast, and in particular at the level of the future agglomeration of Balanque (near the current city of Conque) built around a vast estuary.

The province's GDP is quite large, divided between industry (which has a very practical coastline for exports), agriculture in the large plains, services in the Balanque agglomeration and tourism in the northern mountains and hills.

The human development index will be high to very high thanks to modern infrastructure. The Route de la Confédération (N1) which crosses the Ardennes federation also crosses the province of Lévionnay, the A1 motorway which connects Wadeville and Sainte-Inès passes through Le Lévionnay and new motorways and expressways will be laid out, in particular the A18 which will connect the Balanque capital to the north of the province and especially to the huge agglomeration of St-Jean-de-Chance (Sainte-Agnès).

I'm asking for my own territory to develop a whole province, not just a city, and I can't in Sainte-Agnès without use all the space dedicated to new users.

  • Thanks for the application - two initial requests.
  • About the name of the territory, does "Lévionnay" in place of "Lionnay" could be suitable ? And about the plans, I drew two ones of topography and motorway but I couldn't import them. How can I do that ? Anyway, thank you for answering me. P Gaillard (talk) 16:02, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
    • Thanks, I think that's a better option. You need to use a sharing site like https://imgur.com/ to share the sketch - upload and then paste in the URL here. Thanks/wangi (talk) 18:44, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
