We intend the western parts of AR060-12 to be a mostly flat area, with the occasional gentle hiills and rivers that flow from the east. Along its border with FSA, there will be a large mountain range, where there is an abundance of minerals like coal and iron. The general climate of AR060-12 will be temperate, with biomes such as temperate forests and grasslands found throughout the territory

A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

The economy of this part of Peralia is export-orientated and quite diversified, but with the mining sector being the largest due to the abundance of minerals in the eastern mountain range. Other major industries will be manufacturing and agricultural, which dominates the interior of Peralia due to its generally flat land and fertile soil. Land occupation will include a major city (pop. 2.5-3.5m) located on the coast in the southwest and another major city located on the coast in the north, next to the border with the FSA. A planned city is to be located in the interior as shown by the map, which was built to serve as the provincial capital of Peralia and to promote inland development. It will have a population of around 600k-700k. Smaller towns and communities will be spread throughout the interior and along the coastline. The mapping style with be based off Australia and New Zealand.

A brief description of the intended culture and language

As in real life in Australia and New Zealand, the population of the state is primarily English speaking. However there may be some areas with different cultures, e.g. Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Italian, Greek, etc. This is due to the large number of immigrants of Peralia. But most official documents, road names, names of settlements, etc will be in English.

Discussion for clarification & decision
  • Considering the existing mapping and climate of Clamash, please demote the "large mountain range" in the east to a series of larger rolling hills. (You are welcome to still use the hills for extraction industries, but they should not be "mountainous" in height.) --TheMayor (talk) 13:28, 26 March 2022 (UTC)
Feather-core-check-square.svg Territory application approved
Since the three Peralia applications are clearly intended to be a single unified territory rather than three separate-but-related projects as I initially suggested, I am approving the application for AR060-12 only at this time. (Please also note the above comment regarding the eastern "mountains".) If significant development occurs over the next six months, this project team will be eligible to request a second adjacent territory (if available) to expand the project. -TheMayor (talk) 13:28, 26 March 2022 (UTC)
As a reminder, this territory is part of the larger Deodeca collaborative project; coordination with other territory owners to determine issues of national scope will be required moving forward.
