The Territory ID (from OpenGeofiction:Territories, e.g. AR123a) and proposed name of the country |

An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. It is advised to also create a sketch, you can add a link to this (hosted on imgur or similar) |
Minnesaugiaw is a heavily forested state that is rich in minerals such as iron and copper. It is located on Lake Ashani and has many other lakes dotting its relatively flat terrain. Despite most of the state being flat, it does have mountains in the west that are sparsely populated.

A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style |
The state has one of the smallest populations in the FSA. It has always been sparsely inhabited even by the natives, and is rather infrequently visited. The northern and eastern parts of the state are more inhabited, with farming concentrated around rivers and flat fields. The southern and western parts are all heavily forested and have very few inhabitants. The state capital is the city of Martinsville (Pop. 32,000) and the largest city is the city of Ironton (Pop. 57,000).

A brief description of the intended culture and language |
It has a notable Saavean diaspora due to many early settlers hailing from there and staying due to being used to the harsh climate, with some even still speaking Saavean as a language. It was not heavily settled until important ore deposits were found in the state, with significant mining towns beginning to spring up near the mines. However, as the supplies have been depleted, the population of the state has stagnated and remained small.

To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful | |
The {{coord}} template can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - it results in a nice formatted link. Or you can paste in a URL. |
https://opengeofiction.net/#map=17/-36.63763/155.22055&layers=B This is a small town named Thurwell I made as a test of mapping American small towns. Many towns in the state will probably look like this but larger. Most of my OSM mapping is of American towns that look quite like this as well.
https://opengeofiction.net/#map=17/13.11219/-109.21247&layers=B This town is meant to be a more rural and less planned community, although the difference in biomes and geography still stands.
https://opengeofiction.net/#map=18/-36.78534/154.02514&layers=B Some urban mapping I did in a collaborative state. It was another test, and in my opinion it fits right in.
https://opengeofiction.net/#map=17/-35.66232/157.16341&layers=5 This is more mapping in Michisaukee, it is in what is supposed to be a decently major economic hub for the region but it had no mapped buildings downtown, so I mapped some myself

Sorry, but your level of mapping isn't yet sufficient. It's important to keep in mind that in the mapping examples we're looking for evidence that you can pull off what you are proposing. So, it needs a much broader range and scope of mapping - not just small rural towns. For example: lakefront natural mapping, forested natural mapping, a better concept for the region, and some degree of agriculture or industry. And if you are wanting to showcase urban mapping then you need to show yours, rather than a few buildings added amongst another mappers work.
On the specific state proposal, it needs to take into account the neighbouring constraints - international boundary along mountain range to the east; lake and extended lake/marsh features to the neighbour state on the west; river forming boundary with states to the north... The outline map has far too many counties, with what would appear to be unfeasibly small population for that number of countries and proposed towns/cities. Is there a PLSS? Topo doesn't make sense, there needs to be some sort of explanation for the watersheds. Importantly, there needs to be consideration of historic travel flows via the major river and lake. I'd recommend clearing the existing mapping in your BG and then using it to map out a portion of what you want to request. When successful that mapping can be moved.
