Rotana is located upon flat green plains and winding rivers and overall a very arable land area. Farming was historically a large player in the country's economy. The climate is mild year-round with lots of rainfall at the start and end of the year.

A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

As a former British colony, the nation of Rotana speaks English as an official language. There is no native peoples of the land, so the demographic is mainly white Englishmen with a small immigrant population. The capital of the nation, Antoney, is a bustling city with a strong abundance of surrounding neighborhoods on the rise.

A brief description of the intended culture and language

Due to the arability of the land that makes up Rotana, agriculture is not only a huge part of the economy, but also the culture itself. Many small farming towns can be found in the quiet rural side of the land. Rotana is named after the British explorer William Rotan, who discovered it in the 18th century on an expedition. As stated before, the language is English as there are no native people groups that inhabit the area.

Not only have I extensively studied the world of OpenGeoFiction, I have also provided examples of mapping in the New User Practice And Demo Zone, such as the small American-style neighborhood of Princeton https://opengeofiction.net/#map=16/11.6139/-113.5544 and part of a small rural town, Walton Farms https://opengeofiction.net/#map=17/12.67332/-112.23131

I hope to gain more experience mapping in my own beginner territory.
