TA252 Suleihügü

Noun Project Map icon 1463108.svgPhysical geography
An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. It is advised to also create a sketch, you can add a link to this (hosted on imgur or similar)

Suleihügü features a steppe climate mountain range across the north, steadily decreasing into a rainforest near the coast. A cloud forest will exist in between the mountains and the rainforest. The northern mountain range would be the source of many rivers and streams. The range would also connect to the mountain range in Raqar.

Invest - The Noun Project.svgHuman geography
A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

Suleiwaayü, the main demographic in the nation, can be compared to native populations in Nicaragua or Panama.

Around 12 million people would live in Suleihügü, with 6 million living in the capital, Dürsagoun. Outside of the capital, the other 6 million people would live in rural towns and villages, except for a few larger towns across the nation. Most people in rural areas would own farms. Economic development and infrastructure levels in Dürsagoun would be disproportionately high when compared to the rest of the country. One motorway would exist in the rest of the country, connecting west to east and extending to international connections.

I think that the mapping style would most likely resemble a country like Guyana.

Noun Project languages icon 105908 cc.svgHistory & culture
A brief description of the intended culture and language

The native culture of Suleihügü would be analogous to the cultures found in Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama. The main language of Suleihügü "Kaxi" would stem from a mixture of languages from many of these cultures, as well as significant superstratum influence from Ingerish due to colonisation.

Some real world languages that Suleihügü is based off are, in order of largest influence, are Waayu, Garifuna, Miskito and Paraujano.

In the mountainous north, there would be a few towns & villages that would have languages comparable to Bantu languages.

You have shown a good standard of mapping in Miuro, and I think this is a good territory to work on larger-scale mapping with. It will be good to see another piece of western Tarephia get some detail. — ParAvion (talk) 20:50, 12 August 2025 (UTC)
As you develop your territory, be sure to keep it realistic. Here are some resources you may find useful for starting out: Help:Portal, Help:Making realistic countries, Help:Making realistic cities and OpenGeofiction:Site policies
