Proposed Name: Costa d'Or (lit. "Gold Coast" in Catalan), Spanish Name: Costa de Oro; Samaaran: Sëfergil (lit. "Coast of Gold")

	Physical geography
	An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. With the exception of Beginner territories, you should always create a sketch map to illustrate & explain your plans. You can add a link to this (hosted on imgBB, Postimages or similar, but not imgur.com)

The country will be mostly flat except for the part where it juts inland in the south, where the area will be full of mountains and foothills.

	Human geography
	A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

The coast and islands will contain more urban development made of medium sized cities reminiscent of American and European cities; however, outside of the cities, there will exist several localities that provide labour for the agricultural sector. The nation's economy will centre around agriculture, automobiles, and shipping.

	History & culture
	A brief description of the intended culture and language

The main language will be Catalan, with some Spanish and Samaaran (constructed language) spoken in the islands, and the languages of neighbouring countries near the borders.

	Past mapping
	To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful.
	The {{coord}}, {{node}}, {{relation}} or {{scalehelper}} templates can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - they result in nicely formatted links. Or you can paste in a URL.

	Username & date
	Sign and date the application by typing four tildes (~~~~) without spaces or "nowiki" tags.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I really hope that I will be allowed to edit in this territory, but I do understand if my request is denied.

Dear Crispy Chicken, thank you for your application. Unfortunately, I will have to deny your application at this point in time, for the following two reasons:

• you should first build up some more mapping experience, for example in blue territories. I'd particularly encourage you to apply for a BG territory, which is also a private territory, but serves as a sandbox to practice and showcase your mapping. Your work from such a BG territory can be easily transferred to a permanent private territory at a future point in time.
• the concept for your country does not relate to the meta-concept for the wider region, as laid out in OpenGeofiction:East_Uletha#Sector_32_(Monsoon_East_Uletha). Similar guidelines exist for most continents. When creating a new territory application in the future, please refer to these materials. Also, you are always welcome to reach out if you have a specific idea for your future territory but are unsure where it cout fit in well.
