Summit is a city in northern Northlake County, Ogdalen. It is a suburb of Adamsville and the largest city in Northlake County, with a population of 46,235 as of the 2020 census. It is one of the primary cities of the Adamsville-Mentone-Summit Metropolitan Area. It lies east of the town of Xylopolis, which it is often considered a twin city with, and is west of FS-17 and northwest of the county seat Allen. Summit is named for its location on the highest point of the railroad between Adamsville and Tornburgh, which is located on the ridge that divides the Cholotka River Valley to the west and the (Eustacia Border River) Valley to the east. Summit started out as a small town centered around the railroad and with an economy based on agriculture and trade, but in recent years has seen rapid growth due to its proximity to Adamsville.
