It's me again. I've been working in BG06 for a while to get enough credit to apply for an Archantian state, and I would like it reviewed. The biggest thing I know needs reworking is the reservoir along Pond road. Could anybody review my city? TheRealStanPines (talk) 16:57, 12 February 2026 (UTC)

Hi! Good job on your town mapping, it's really analogous to what an American rural town would feel like. I feel like before anything adding some greenery would be well appreciated, like forests and whatnot, or perhaps scrubs for more arid climates that would dominate the sides of mountains and whatnot. Some other improvements could be to use natural=scree and natural=bare_rock for some of the mountains you have. Happy mapping! ParrotMan (talk) 16:37, 13 February 2026 (UTC)
It's useful to provide a link to your mapping: 14.6141°N, 111.7915°W. Have a read up of Help:Making realistic countries and use the scale helper to compare your mapping against some real world locations. I wouldn't bother with power mapping at all, just focus of getting the natural mapping to gel - rather than look like a collage. The use of arete is out of place, as is just one stream running parallel to the ridge? /wangi (talk) 18:06, 14 February 2026 (UTC)
I second Wangi's points. There is no really cohesive "scene" you have built yet, it really just looks like a random collection of singular objects that have little relation to one another. Consider stuff like the road going onto the Mesa, how is the road getting up the cliff? The drainage channels also don't really show any cohesive topography. I would suggest looking at some aerial views of real life locations, look at the relief and how the terrain as a whole looks and consider how you would map something similar.
