Physical geography:

The nation features a temperate environment characterized by a humid, oceanic coastline that transitions into a system of central rolling hills. The climate is cool to mild, providing a realistic landscape for coastal maritime activities and interior development.

Human geography:

Solvetia's population is heavily centered along the northern and western coasts. The interior central rolling hills are more sparsely populated, maintaining a few rural and suburban towns. The country sustains a steady economy focused heavily on fishing along the coasts and mining operations in the interior hills. Urban planning and infrastructure design will take strong, realistic inspiration from real-world UK and US layouts, utilizing grid variants, historic town centers, and structured regional connections.

History & culture:

The culture of Solvetia is built upon a blend of native Antarephian tradition and historic Ingerish colonial descent. The first colonial settlements were founded in 1881 at the site of the present-day capital, Port Amberley. Over the decades, Port Amberley evolved from a small, modest fishing port into a large, thriving, and highly organized city. Other major towns are Aldershore and Sudbury, a major mining area.
