The Territory ID (from OpenGeofiction:Territories, e.g. AR123a) and proposed name of the country

AR015ƨ – KubNtsaim

Physical geography
An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. With the exception of Beginner territories, you should always create a sketch map to illustrate & explain your plans. You can add a link to this (hosted on imgBB, Postimages or similar, but not imgur.com)

General plan for the country is possible to see here: https://ibb.co/m5rsKCyS

The country landscape is dominated by large river delta. On that sedimentary plain many lakes can be found (invisible on the map due to scale). In the east KubNtsaim is separated from the neighbor by relatively high mountain chain. In the east the plain is separated from the ocean by a large, mountainous peninsula.

Climate is supposed to be humid subtropical in most of the area except for the mountains and northern highland where it leans more towards dry winter subtropical.

Main inspiration for mapping the area include South-East Asian countries like Thailand, Vietnam or Kamboja, as well as southern China.

Human geography
A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

The country is supposed to be densely populated. Because of the circumstances mentioned in the section below I estimated the total population at 90 million people (+/- 10 million) which gives a population density of about 470 ppl/sq. km, comparable to pre-population boom Guangdong province of China.

Location of the main cities (>1 million) is given on the map above. As can be easily noticed, the majority of the population is supposed to be located in the river delta, just like in most places I want to take inspiration from.

Historically, the people settled in the area tried to dry the swamps in the delta to make the area suitable for efficient rice cultivation which resulted in covering the delta with a dense grid of canals and culverts.

In terms of economy the country is supposed to follow the model of rich government but relatively poor people, combined with large inequality, with GDP somewhere between China and Thailand, with preliminary figures per capita: nominal: $10k, purchasing power parity: $30k. Main sectors of the economy are agriculture (decreasing) and industry focused on automotive vehicles and electronics, although the latter is supposed to be still in the early growth phase.

The infrastructure is relatively well developed, the motorways connect all main cities, and low standard HSR (250 km/h) is being constructed, most big cities have above ground subway systems. The country drives on the left. All old railways have metre gauge, while HSR is supposed to be 1435 mm.

That said, infrastructure planning is supposed to be more inspired by Thailand and its neighbors rather than China or Vietnam because the country isn’t supposed to be a planned economy.

History & culture
A brief description of the intended culture and language

KubNtsaim is supposed to be Hmong (according to the wiki the OGF name is Neeg) ethno-state. They are supposed to be native to the area. Historically they lived in small communities, loosely connected with each other. The main source of common national identity was a quasi-parliament in which local lords established basic laws of the country. However, about a thousand years ago the country was forced into closer integration due to outer threat, leading to creation of the position of war leader which later evolved into a weak elective monarch.

Currently it’s a one-party state where the monarch completely lost the power struggle and his role is mostly ceremonial while true power lies in the hands of the party leader. The party, while quite authoritarian, does not have any clear political affiliation, the closest being sort of big tent.

Religiously society is divided between Buddhists and believers of local folk religion which, however, borrows many basic concepts from Buddhism and Taoism.

Past mapping
To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful.
The {{coord}}, {{node}}, {{relation}} or {{scalehelper}} templates can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - they result in nicely formatted links. Or you can paste in a URL.

I will list here the mapping made since the last Demirhan Empire expansion two years ago. Over the years I created all the mapping in Demirhan Empire and Demirhan Tarephian Khedivate from scratch.

There were also several noticeable edits in Furgenia but it is a collaborative territory so I will refrain from linking it above as the authorship may be seen as unclear. I also made large scale edits in Sahelekabud Ostanıƨ, after a land swap with Zozondaria in the beginning of 2026.
