Physical geography
An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. With the exception of Beginner territories, you should always create a sketch map to illustrate & explain your plans. You can add a link to this (hosted on imgBB, Postimages or similar, but not imgur.com)

Marada can be divided into four distinct geographic regions:

Western Coast - Due to above average precipitation caused by the dividing range, this region is home to many temperate rainforests, especially on the Auguste Cape. This Region is notable for its wine production and logging industry, which provide for much of the rural economy along with tourism to the many national parks. This coast is also notable home to many roadsteads, of which the nation got its name. This region is most comparable to the Oregon/Washington Coast, Eastern Australia and Chile.

Dividing Range - This region is home to the highest ridges of the nation, and experience snowfall unlike the rest of the country. The region's mountains are overwhelmingly fold mountains, comparable to South Africa's Great Escarpment and Cape Fold Mountains. The region is sparsely populated and much of its forests are still virgin, after being designated royal hunting grounds. The region is comparable to the aforementioned South African mountain systems, as well as the Appalachian mountains in the extremities of the region.

Central Plains and Southeast Coast - This region boasts the most arable land in Marada, as well as the flattest. Towards the southeast Coast, the region gives way to forests and larger natural lakes that form much of the historically Valonnian-speaking part of Marada. This region is home to the most population, the capital, and the overwhelming majority of the development of the country. This region is comparable to the North American Midwest States/Prairie Provinces, New Zealand, and Victoria, Australia.

Northern Drylands - The least populated region, This is where most of the scrubland and all of Marada's deserts are located. Barring the large lakes along the main rivers, there is little to no agriculture besides cattle grazing, which dominates the economy of the many provinces. This region is comparable to the Namib and Great Victoria Deserts. Along the major lakes, it is comparable to the state of South Australia.

Human geography
A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

Demographics - The majority (around 65%) of Marada is 'Coloured'. The Coloureds are mainly native Khoisan or Khoisan-Kliprivi mixed peoples. They provide for the majority population in many urban centres and rural communities outside of the West Coast. These would also be the natives of Marada who inhabited the interior of the country for thousands of years prior to the arrival of West Ulethans. Ingreans constitute around 19% of the population and are the predominant peoples of the West Coast, some urban centres (like the capital Constantia), and a notable portion of rural communities. Kliprivi, or the Lentian settlers who settled the Stone River of Northwest Marada (the Kliprivier), make up around 9% of the population. This group is predominant in the north and northwest, especially in rural settlements. 2% of the population are Colombiane, or the remaining Valonnian-speaking population that inhabit the territory closest to Mecyna. The remaining 5% of the population are immigrants, mainly from North Archanta and both Ulethas.

Marada is a developed nation, with great infrastructure, a stable currency and economy, and fair political stability. The nation does, however, falter with disparity between the rural regions and the urban centres. Marada also has a past of inequality against Kliprivis and Colombianes, especially from the Ingrean population. Marada's population is around 11-12 million.

History & culture
A brief description of the intended culture and language

Marada is intended to be an Ingerish-speaking nation, with a sizeable Kliprivi (Afrikaans) and native (Khoekhoe) minority. Mapping of the territory will reflect this. Most things will be mapped in English, with only land features or culturally distinct communities getting mapping in a different language. Mapping waterways will typically end with the Afrikaans -Rivier, while -River will be common on the West Coast where Ingerish was always predominant. Religiously, most Maradese are Catholic, with a notable (though still small) Muslim, Hindu, and other Christian population. The Maradese are also a quite liberal people, with the original colonies banning the use of slavery or indentured servitude within the territories and segregation or Apartheid policies never taking shape in the territory, except in notable amounts against Kliprivis stopping around the late 90s, leaving a lasting impact on culture in the north.

Past mapping
To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful.
The {{coord}}, {{node}}, {{relation}} or {{scalehelper}} templates can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - they result in nicely formatted links. Or you can paste in a URL.

I had previously held this territory, until I voluntarily gave it up due to feeling stuck trying to stick to my prior outlines. I have decided to be less strict on my inspirations for mapping to compensate.

50.0081°N, 55.5033°E - Albord and some rural communities.

36.588°S, 149.7246°E - Waynesville and surrounding mapped Hillard County.

11.696°N, 111.4911°W - Morrisonrivier, an example of rural Marada.

I also had a couple prior mappings in the beginner territory (Wangi possibly might remember?).
