BG02 - Terradona / Terrino

	Physical geography

Terradona is a territory found in central southern Italy under the Roman Empire, and it is characterized by a Mediterranean climate with dry summers and wet winters, which is helpful for farming, the area is composed of rolling hills, while there are mountain ridges found in the northern part, which serve as natural defenses, there is also the western side, where there is a coastal plain near the sea, where ports and towns can be built, there is also a river running through a valley, which is helpful for water, while there is a forest, olives, and grass, which is helpful for agriculture, though sometimes the hills can hinder movement.

	A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

The population of Terradona is growing, consisting of Roman citizens, Italic tribes, and a small number of slaves, with the majority living in small villages that practice farming, while a few larger settlements are established near the coast, the economy is based on agriculture, including wheat, olives, grapes, fishing, and trade, the territory is divided into farms, properties, and public areas controlled by the Roman Empire, the infrastructures are basic roads connecting settlements, water supply systems, small ports for trade, the territory is generally mapped in the Roman style, with simple drawn maps indicating the location of roads, rivers, settlements, and important landmarks, with the use of scale being unnecessary

	History & culture
	A brief description of the intended culture and language

Terradona is based on the traditional religion of the Roman Empire, where people believe in multiple gods such as Jupiter and Mars, and religious practices include temples, sacrifice, and festivals in towns and cities across the empire, and the spoken language is Grecapahl Italian, a mix of Latin and Greek and local Italic dialects, meaning people may have a slightly different way of speaking depending on the region but can still communicate with each other

BG territories are for building up mapping experience only, not for long-term mapping. Given that, and OpenGeofiction's policies (be original, modern day, no real-world etc), I'm really not sure what you are asking for here? Additionally, you previously had BG12 and it was withdrawn earlier this year due to a lack of mapping activity. Thanks/wangi (talk) 21:44, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
