• What I understand from beginner territories is that they're for practice mainly, and are short-term. A player can claim one and have reign over it. I have an overall plan to practice mapping by making a metropolitan area for a fictional city and I requested this BG to fully map it more freely than I could've in the demo/practice area right next to it.
