	The Territory ID (from OpenGeofiction:Territories, e.g. AR123a) and proposed name of the country

BG20 - Southland (changed the name)

	Physical geography
	An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. With the exception of Beginner territories, you should always create a sketch map to illustrate & explain your plans. You can add a link to this (hosted on imgBB, Postimages or similar, but not imgur.com)

Same as previous application, fjord-y glacial coast with hilly taiga inland, separated by a tall mountain range.

	Human geography
	A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

There's two cities, Saint Cyr and Blackfoot, the former is larger and the latter is smaller.

	History & culture
	A brief description of the intended culture and language

Mostly English-speaking with some indigenous population further north, and some Swedish culture down south.

	Past mapping
	To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful.
	The {{coord}}, {{node}}, {{relation}} or {{scalehelper}} templates can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - they result in nicely formatted links. Or you can paste in a URL.

	Username & date
	Sign and date the application by typing four tildes (~~~~) without spaces or "nowiki" tags.

Can you summarise, in your own words, what a beginner territory is and isn't for please. /wangi (talk) 12:04, 5 April 2026 (UTC)
A place to practice mapping, temporarily. It's not a full territory. I'll probably move my mapping somewhere else once I finish practicing, and then improve it. If I can get a territory at that point of course. Xoxasochka (talk) 12:10, 5 April 2026 (UTC)
