Laubaya borders Apuremia to the north, TA251 to the northeast, TA213 to the east, TA212 to the south, uurö to the west, and TA216 to the northwest. Parts of the borders are formed by lakes and rivers. The country’s main river is the {NAME} (“Northwest Tarephian International River”, although it may in fact be the "Northeast Tarephian International River"), which flows from {Tarephian Lake “C”} to the north, cutting Laubaya in half, before forming the border with TA216 and ending up in {Tarephian Lake “D”}.
The west and northeastern parts of the country are covered by tropical rainforest, while agriculture is present around the inhabited areas in the centre, the northwest, and the north. Laubaya is known for its so called Silver Acacia that can be seen throughout the country and in its direct environment.
Laubaya is home to a large mountain gorilla population as well as several other primate species. In addition there are approximately 857 confirmed bird species living in Laubaya.
The climate is tropical with stable temperatures between 15 and 28 C (59 and 82 F) throughout the year. Precipitation varies between 1,000 and 1,500 millimetres per year.

| A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style |
Population: About 5.8 million. The country has a GDP per capita of around $1912, or 11,089,600,000 nominal. The country has not many natural resources and the manufacturing sector is underdeveloped. 55% of GDP consists of agriculture. A large part of the population lives in poverty. Recent improvement of the country’s banking sector and tourist industry has brought a little bit of economic relief.
Under past dictatorships, a large deal of money was spent to improve the nation’s infrastructure and to construct a railway network. Funding mostly stopped after the regime was toppled in 1993 and many roads and railroads need urgent maintenance.
Mapping will probably be inspired by countries in tropical Africa, such as Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi.

| A brief description of the intended culture and language |
Traditional tribes and kingdoms, ideally followed one or more periods of foreign rule (Raqar?). An independence war took place between 1890 and 1897 (or, if no foreign rule prior to that, it will be a unification war). In 1897 the republic was proclaimed. It turned into a dictatorship twice; the last time between 1976 and 1993.
Culture may be similar to adjacent nations but only Raqar has a wiki page so I will need to contact the owners of the two occupied neighbouring countries to know more about them.

| To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful. | |
| The {{coord}}, {{node}}, {{relation}} or {{scalehelper}} templates can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - they result in nicely formatted links. Or you can paste in a URL. |
Wyster in Eastern Uletha, which is in various levels of development.
Previously I also had a (too) huge territory in southern Archanta but I swapped that for an expansion of Wyster in 2019. Also a large part of the city centre of Ambansaros in AR902 was mapped by me back in 2015.
I intend to continue with Wyster too, so Laubaya would be a new second territory. My mapping rhythm can be characterised as slow but steady as I use it to fill moments that I am not doing something mandatory (work and other obligations).
