The Republic of Apuremia (Kaxi: Apuremia Repubulikite), is a landlocked country in Western Tarephia. Apuremia is bordered by Raqar to the east and TA216 to the west and north. Apuremia also shares maritime borders Laubaya and TA251 to the south, on Tarephian Lake D. As of 2024, Apuremia had a population of 20.85 million people, with just above 5 million in the capital city of Dursagoün.

The name "Apuremia" is derived from a corruption of the Yuma word "Wabureme", meaning "Our Father". Wabureme is also the name of the tallest point in the nation, Mt. Wabureme.

Apuremia has 4 official languages - Kaxi, Yuma, Anuku and Holhelo. Kaxi is a constructed language sharing vocbaulary and grammar from Yuma, Anuku and Holhelo. In addition to this, Apuremia also has 4 regional languages - Banna, Hama, Tawawaké and Wañuma. Ingerish and Castellanese were official languages up to 2002, but were since removed after the revolution for decolonisation. While both languages are still being informally used as lingua francas across some communities, Kaxi is quickly replacing these as a lingua franca.

Apuremia was comprised of two colonies before unification - Castellan Suleigo and Ingerish Apuremia. The origins of the name Suleigo are unknown. In 1975, Suleigo was granted independence, with the capital as Malawaka. Ingerish Apuremia was given independence two years later in 1977. However, despite independence, both nations were completely controlled by pro-Ingerish and pro-Castellan governments, and systemic racism was still widespread. In 1999, a revolutionary group named the "Worker Union Party" (Yuma: Undarinu Nadagimete Setanu) gained fame across both nations, and sought after the unification and complete independence of both nations, and began to rally and protest across the two countries, becoming the Suleigo-Apuremian Civil War. During the war, about 1 million people fled to other countries, with 250,000 returning back afterwards. Large Apuremian communities still exist and thrive in Raqar, Azure Coast, Malacos and as far as Itarnar. In 2001, the Suleigan and Apuremian governments resigned, finally granting independence for the two nations. However, many cities were largely destroyed and lots of people fell into poverty, so the two nations unified for economic prosperity and unification.

After the war, Apuremia began to industrialise and started to export, gradually increasing the economy. In 2010, a large population boom occurred after post-war life expectancy rose and proper healthcare and education began to centralise. Currently, Apuremia is a developing nation, but still suffers from the effects of colonisation, and has very high wealth inequality.
