Cold(ish), temperate climate, like Wyster ; larger cities towards the coast, more forest in the inlands. I'd like to split some of the land off of the mainland to form a larger island that can be a scarsely populated nature reserve (and subject of protests against the controversial bridge to the central main island, see below).

Cities on the coast, more countryside features in the inlands; creating cross-border features with my land neighbours. I was also thinking of connecting the mainland with the island by means of a bridge (which I don't want to map as finished straight away but have some storyline about its controversial construction).

A brief description of the intended culture and language

Part of Wystrian history (Wyster had a combined history with Glaster as the Kingdom of Both Glasters; the countries went their own ways in the early 19th century, so there will have to be some sort of reunification).

To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful
The {{coord}} template can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - it results in a nice formatted link. Or you can paste in a URL.

Yes: started in 2014 with Hamabaurgs, a small town in AR902 (currently Ambansaros); then Rots/Xsegunis (AR063) in southern Archanta and Wyster (UL070d). In 2019 I dropped Xsegunis and exchanged it for an expansion of Wyster (UL040).

As some kind of a neighbor, I like the idea of Wyster's expansion because a) according to your website, Glaster played a decisive role in Wystrian history and b) your country might form a plausible link between the mainly German dominated islands in the south and the English contries in the north. Good luck with the application! --Mstr (talk) 17:47, 25 February 2024 (UTC)

Thanks! Of course if Yuanls decides to keep the name "Glaster" (or doesn't want me to use it even if he doesn't keep it; he came up with it after all), I will need to change that in my history. Rasmus Rasmusson (talk) 18:53, 25 February 2024 (UTC)

Hello Rasmus, thank you for your application. To complete your application, please attach a sketch of your plans for the new territory. Thanks, Leowezy (talk) 20:06, 26 February 2024 (UTC)

OK, I will try to put something together tomorrow. Rasmus Rasmusson (talk) 20:48, 26 February 2024 (UTC)

Approved. If you want territory ID to be merged, please contact admin separately. Leowezy (talk) 18:03, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
As you develop your territory, be sure to keep it realistic. Here are some resources you may find useful for starting out: Help:Portal, Help:Making realistic countries, Help:Making realistic cities and OpenGeofiction:Site policies

Thanks! This means that I have a good reason not to be lazy anymore and download JOSM again (I bought a new computer last year but haven't put JOSM on it so far). I noticed some issues with the existing border relations already that I probably won't be able to solve with iD. Rasmus Rasmusson (talk) 19:41, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
