It would be a mostly flat country, with some hills along the northern border. The coast would be quite rocky, with a beach in the capital and also some embankments along the sea in the capital. The climate would be temperate, most likely Cfb

| A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style |
The population of the country would mainly be people who immigrated to the country from Uherslant and also other East Ulethan countries. The reason for this is that the country would most likely be akin to European microstates - eg. wealthy population.
The country would have a large port, and the economy would be mainly based on trade and the port facilities. Also, the country would have a lot of quaternary work - eg. IT-related services and media. The HDI would be very high - similar to Singapore or Hong Kong with their HDIs of ~0.950.
The country would be mainly comprised of residential and commercial landuse, and there would be a large park and a science park/campus as seen in many cities.
Moravinje would have no motorways, or maybe one between the north-east and south-west considering its size and the countries that border it are quite rural in the surrounding areas. However, there would be a significant expressway network as the country would be mainly urban and there would be a lot of public transport infrastructure like trams.
There would be a population of around 350 000 - 400 000 in the country - this would give it a population density of around 2250/km^2 given its size of 167km^2.
The mapping would at first be a skeleton expressway network, and then I would start to map large infrastructure like the port and an airport, and then going onto residential/commercial mapping.

| A brief description of the intended culture and language |
It would have originally been set up in the 18th century by traders sailing from south-east Uherslant looking for an outpost with a central location in East Uletha. The people from this part of Uherslant would speak an equivalent of a Polish-Czech hybrid language, which is called Slěżanština, which is still spoken (or planned to be spoken) in south-east Uherslant and in Moravinje. The country would be a boiling pot of cultures, with traders coming and going and some settling in the country. The country would still mainly have an Uherslantan culture due to its origins being as an Uherslantan outpost.
The country would be a protectorate of Uherslant, however it would have its own government.
Moravinje would have a few castles/forts and it would have city walls around the old city. Due to its prime position in Central East Uletha, it would have often been under attack by other countries trying to have a sphere of influence in this area.

I am currently the mapper of Uherslant as you may know. Some mapping in Uherslant that is similar to my idea/plan for Moravinje is the port town of Ustka [1]. It is smaller than Moravinje but it has a similar purpose - a port city that has been previously used as a trading outpost.

Dear Trainsgb, thank you for your territory application. Uherslant is not mapped to a large degree yet, but since the territory you apply for is tiny that is ok. Some comments I would ask you to address:
- please make a sketch of your plans for the territory, just like for any normal territory application.
- please describe the territory's climate and natural geography
- from a look on the map, it doesnt seem all that believable that a large number of people would have migrated to this specific city from Uherslant, but a trade post that later gained independence is realistic, Hong Kong etc. are good examples. But please think a little more about how the Uherslant culture would have interacted with the local culture (what would that have been?) and what the end result would look like today. This could mean language, ethnicity, religion, architecture, government, economic relations today... I'd also encourage you to reach out to your 2 active neighbours there and ask them for input on how this micro state would have likely interacted with their countries over the centuries.
- I'd encourage you not to start by mapping motorways, that is a common mistake made by mappers and usually leads to dead-ends. Have a look at Help:Making_realistic_countries.
Looking forward to your reply! Best, Leowezy (talk) 14:56, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
Hi I noticed your application and got curious. First issue I have is that placing a Polish-Czech conlang in this area would be completely out of place for both regional coherency and overall placements of both languages (they are both located around UL13/14/15 areas). More notable issue is that the example mapping you have shown - Ustka, is named after a rather well known REAL Polish city https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ustka. Not to mention the rather ambitious plan to make a trading port with history like Hong Kong or Singapore that has just 1/40th of its population. Mie (talk) 16:48, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
The problem with REAL names will always exist to some extent. The name Ustka may or may not be widely known, but it is certainly appropriate for the place described. Lankusiek (talk) 19:17, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
