Climate: Temperate maritime climate.

Geographical form: The southern coastal area of UL32e is a lowland plain with a winding coastline and excellent deep-water ports. The central and northeastern regions are a mixed zone of plains, hills, and fragmented mountains, while the northwest is dominated by high mountain ranges. The Tangjiang River/汤江 originates in the northwest mountainous area and is the main river of UL32e. In the valley area upstream of the river, there is the largest freshwater lake - 焦山湖/Jiaoshan Lake. It flows from the valley on the south side of Jiaoshan Lake along the terrain from high to low and flows from northwest to southeast towards the sea. This river gathers numerous tributaries in the surrounding areas, and there is the largest city near the lower reaches of the Tangjiang River - 淮庐市/Huailu City, which is the capital of the Tanghai Republic.

Landscape Overview: The entire UL32e area has a temperate climate, so the vegetation distribution within the area is mainly broad-leaved forests and coniferous forests. The four seasons are distinct, with cold waves from the north moving southward in winter and hot and humid temperatures in summer, often accompanied by typhoons from the southern ocean. The spring and autumn seasons are relatively short.

Human geography
A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

Population statistics: The population of Tanghai Republic is 36 million, with 70% of the population residing in the central and southern regions.

Economic development: The economic development of Tanghai Republic is uneven, with developed manufacturing industries in the south and concentrated economic industries in the central and northeastern regions around several large and medium-sized cities, along rivers and railways. The northwest mountainous areas are mainly dominated by forest processing, animal husbandry, and mining industries, with relatively single industries.

Land occupation: The economically developed areas along the southern coast are mainly occupied by industrial land and urban residential land, with some agricultural land. Most of the central and northeastern regions are agricultural land, as well as urban residential and industrial land. The northwest region is mainly mountainous and forested.

Infrastructure: Tanghai Republic has a relatively comprehensive infrastructure, with highways scattered from the southern coastal capital and railways connecting various cities across the country. Several large cities, including the capital, have airports that provide access to various parts of the world and some domestic cities.

Drawing style: The style is Hua Xia urban road network planning. Although the capital is a coastal city, it was the first place where Hua Xia immigrants migrated north and landed. In the center of the old city, it is an authentic Hua Xia classical city with moats, imperial palaces, and various facilities and buildings of ancient cities.

History & culture
A brief description of the intended culture and language

History and Culture: The Tanghai Republic(汤海) was deeply influenced by the Hua Xia culture. In 756 AD, due to the outbreak of civil war in Hua Xia and the subsequent famine, a group of aristocratic families who originally lived along the northern coast of Hua Xia crossed the sea and headed north to the land of Tanghai to avoid famine and war. This is the first time the Hua Xia people set foot in this place, and for the next thousand years, there have been continuous immigrants from Hua Xia's homeland crossing the sea, either due to wars or disasters. There are also poor people who cross the ocean to Tanghai for survival, using Tanghai as their new home. As more and more immigrants landed in Tanghai, both new and old immigrants gradually integrated with the local Huai Yi tribes(淮夷), developing a new Huai ethnic group(淮族).

In the process of ethnic integration, numerous cities have gradually developed, and developed agriculture and industry and commerce have emerged along the coast and rivers. Huailu(淮庐), the capital city, is one of the earliest cities established by Hua Xia immigrants and also the city with the most brilliant historical and cultural heritage.

With the migration of Hua Xia and the integration of Huai Yi tribes, the current Tanghai culture gradually formed.

Since modern times, with the development of colonialism, Tanghai has also been invaded by colonial empires, and the entire territory has become a colony. Despite the invasion of foreign colonial cultures, the local culture of Tanghai still maintains a strong position, and the people of Tanghai have been constantly resisting imperialist aggression. With the gradual decline of colonial forces, the people of Tanghai finally succeeded in driving away colonial aggressors and establishing an independent and unified national state.

Even after the establishment of the new Tanghai Republic, immigrants from Hua Xia still came here to enrich Tanghai's population and culture, maintaining an uninterrupted connection between Tanghai and Hua Xia.

Ethnicity: Huai ethnic group(淮族)

Religion: Taoism, Zen Buddhism, Buddhism

Language: Huai language / 淮语 (similar to Hua Xia's Renmin language, which is a branch dialect).Huai language is a language formed by the fusion of the immigrant language of Huaxia and the indigenous language of Huaiyi in the local area. The difference between this language and Huaxia is that it retains many tones, pronunciations, and language formats of ancient Huaxia language. Compared to modern Huaxia people, the language rules of the Huai ethnic group are relatively lengthy and complex, but they can still communicate to a certain extent, albeit with a lot of Huai Yi vocabulary mixed in.

Thank you, I will do my best to do well here —Unsigned comment by 东庙西官 (talk).

  • Hi, as a quasi neighbour, a few lines of comment from my side. This looks like a very interesting addition to Eastern Uletha, especially because it would introduce a distinct Chinese-speaking cultural sphere outside of Huaxia. I do have one suggestion regarding the writing system. Since the proposed migration from Huaxia takes place in 756 AD, I would strongly encourage considering Traditional Chinese characters, or perhaps a locally developed character system, rather than the modern Simplified Chinese forms. The current simplified forms are largely the result of 20th-century reforms in mainland China. If Tanghai's population became geographically and culturally separated from Huaxia from the 8th century onward, it would be quite interesting for its writing system to have followed its own historical development instead of adopting a much later reform that originated in Huaxia. This doesn't necessarily mean that Tanghai would have to use exactly the same traditional forms found today in Taiwan or Hong Kong. In fact, I think it could be even more interesting if Tanghai developed its own forms of simplification over the centuries. Some characters could have evolved into locally simplified variants, perhaps in ways somewhat reminiscent of Japanese Shinjitai, while still retaining a fundamentally traditional character system. That would give the Huai script its own historical identity rather than making it simply “Traditional Chinese” or “Simplified Chinese”. Of course, I understand that this may be somewhat outside the linguistic and cultural environment you are accustomed to, so I don't mean this as a requirement. I just think it could make Tanghai's historical divergence from Huaxia much more visible and internally consistent. I'd also recommend taking a look at Izaland's history on the wiki, since Izaland is located relatively close to Tanghai and would be one of its nearby regional neighbours. There is another particularly interesting connection to consider: Belphenia lies to the south and has historically been influenced by Kyowa and the Japanese language. This could create some fascinating opportunities for cultural and linguistic interaction between Tanghai, Izaland and Belphenia, particularly given the maritime geography of the region. Overall, I'm very interested to see how Tanghai develops, especially as a Chinese-derived culture that has had more than a millennium to evolve independently from Huaxia. --Izaland Terramorphing Committee (talk) 08:16, 19 September 2026 (UTC)
    • Hello, thank you for your suggestion message. There is a missing content that I did not fill in before, but I have just corrected it. My idea is that although Hua Xia has been immigrating to Tanghai for a thousand years, the distance between Tanghai and Hua Xia is not far. There have always been Hua Xia immigrants coming to Tanghai, so communication has been frequent, not mutually exclusive. And my setting is that the population of Tanghai is around 36 million. This place itself is not large, and it is impossible to dominate Tanghai solely through a wave of immigration. It is difficult for the local indigenous population and the population of neighboring countries to gather so much, and it is still based on the Hua Xia culture. Just like the United States and Canada, it is impossible for the UK to change its population and culture with just one wave of immigration. So the continuous influx of population from Hua Xia has enriched the population of Tanghai, making Hua Xia culture dominant and closely connected, and making Hua Xia the cultural homeland. So with Hua Xia's character reform, Tang Hai himself will also carry out reforms. Since Hua Xia is a cultural mother country and there is no political hostility, then the characters must also follow Hua Xia's character reform. Chinese similar to Malaysia and Singapore is also synchronized with the same simplified Chinese in Chinese Mainland. This itself is not conflicting. 东庙西官 (talk) 13:02, 19 September 2026 (UTC)
    • Maybe Tanghai could be an area mixed with Huaxia and Izaland's culture. --NM$l (talk) 15:04, 19 September 2026 (UTC)

  • I also just want to add more comments as someone also mapping a Chinese nation:
I find it's not very likely the territory would be speaking Mandarin like Huaxia if the divergence was quite long ago (700AD). Also, at that location, it's more likely to be influenced by the surrounding languages like Izaki and Kyowanese, and perhaps Peichew too. Also, while you raised about Canada and the US, Canadian and American English still differ rather significantly from British English and have their own spelling standards, despite Canada and the US being placed under British rule from the 1600s. Also to note, the cultures of Canada and the US also have other influences like French and Spanish respectively.
Also, I don't think Huaxia at that point had already claimed up to the northern coast of Archanta, and I envisioned Peichew could have still controlled that area. But it's plausible that some Huaxians could have, with Peichewese assistance, could have migrated to that area.
That all said, it could be possible that Renminyu could have eventually dominated the region in the 20th century, probably after the Great War when Huaxia seized control of the northern coast of Archanta, and that Tanghai could opt to embrace Huaxia's sphere of influence while suppressing other indegenuous cultures and standardise its language to be like Renminyu.
In the end it's your choice, but I do hope to encourage a distinct Chinese culture and language, perhaps one which evolved from Middle Chinese, and see its influneces with surrounding cultures. But if you desire to have Huaxian-centric culture, it can be explained as Huaxia reinforcing its dominance more recently when Fascist Peichew lost the Great War and fell into Civil War.--Zhenkang (talk) 00:17, 20 September 2026 (UTC)
Hello, thank you for your advice. I will also consider it.东庙西官 (talk) 12:44, 20 September 2026 (UTC)

Hello 东庙西官 (is there a nickname in Latin letters I could use, like Dong?), thank you for your territory application. Your past mapping qualifies you for a private territory. The target theme for sector UL32 is pretty broad and adoptable and I believe your concept for Huaxian migration is reasonable. Before proceeding with your application, I would like to ask for clarifications on the following points:

  • The link to the sketch map does not work for me, could you provide a different one? Please ensure that the sketch shows both natural and human geography.
  • Could you elaborate a little on the Huaiyi culture and language, especially what the state of the territory way before Huaxian settlers arrived and what language they spoke?
  • Could you elaborate a little on the current political system you envision?

Many thanks, best, Leowezy (talk) 19:17, 21 September 2026 (UTC)

Hello administrator, thank you for your recognition. You can call me 'Dong Miao Xi Guan'. Someone has already helped me re upload the sketch, take a look. Thank you, Taksine.

The language of the indigenous Huai Yi people is a tribal language similar to the Altaic language family, but the Huai Yi group is not a complete and unified ethnic group, and is a very loose agricultural tribe. Each neighboring tribe has slight differences in language, and the farther away the tribe is, the more difficult it is to communicate and there is no script. Believe in the ancient god of fire and heavenly beings.

Political system: What I envision is a mixed market economy system similar to socialism, with a socialist parliament and each province having its own provincial parliament. Each level of parliament is not divided by political parties, but by regions, industries, and occupations. Due to the national state established by Tang Hai under the leadership of the proletarian political party, he has always adhered to the socialist system. However, with the rigidity of the traditional planned economy, he began to loosen economic control and embrace the global industrial division of labor, which led to the rapid development of Tang Hai's economy.东庙西官 (talk) 13:01, 22 September 2026 (UTC)
