Terolask (/tɛ'roʊlɑːsk/, or sometimes /tɛ'rəlɑːsk/), officially the Republic of Terolask (Respobilis Teirolask) is an island country in Eastern Uletha. It shares maritime borders with the Madean Union to the north, and Eshein to the south. To the east is the Gulf of Volta, while the Darcodian Sea lies to the west.

The capital city, Esdranith (Aesdranith), is in the northeast of the country, and straddles the Strait of Carilask, between the islands of Terolask (Teirolask) and Carilask (Caerithlaesk). Other major cities include Calondrask (Caelon-Thraesk), Carennolask (Caereinn-ath-Thraesk), and Sathrenscath (Sathreins Caet). (To be completed)

The current government is a formal coalition between the Workers' Party (PA-WP) and the Social Democrats (PSD-SD), with 51 of the 100 seats in the Ridings, and 239 of 500 in the Deputies. While the total for the House of Deputies is not a majority of seats, the government functions nonetheless with the informal support of the People's Socialist Party's (PPS-PSP) MDs in most votes.

Energy

The majority (58.5%) of Terolask's electricity originates from nuclear fission. The republic maintains 29 active nuclear reactors across 8 sites; seven reactors are currently undergoing decommissioning, while five new reactors are under construction. The Department of Energy aims to have implemented a commercially-viable fusion reactor by the year 2050. Wind power contributes the second-largest share to the energy balance, with onshore and offshore windfarms concentrated on the Darcodian coast of the island.

While still an exporter of coal, only one domestic coal-fired power station remains online in 2025; this is scheduled to close by 2027; most coal is used by the steel industry.
