Plan for the country: https://ibb.co/tT3bJyBn The 2 wider rivers on the map are the Tondya and Lina River and they are the main rivers of Saduria.
OpenGeofiction:Antarephia#/media/File:Antarephia Geo Sector.png Located in the sub-tropical zone of Antarephia, the Saduri Federation will have a sub-tropical climate with hot, humid summers and mild, highly pleasant winters. In the middle of the country roughly where the previous border between AN137e and AN137h was, there will be a range of hills that rivers from the east and west flow towards. The population on the west will be concentrated in valley around the basin of a tributary of the Arma River named the Tondya River, while the eastern half of the country will be flatter and more populated, with the main river there being the Lina River. The capital of Saduekuluch will be right in-between the 2 regions, being just east of the central hills. The tallest mountains in the country will be on the western border with AN137j∈⊾ƨ.

Language
The primary language of the federation is Ingerish, which gradually became the language of trade, higher education and government during centuries of close commercial ties with Ingrea. Tenibri remains an important national language and has experienced a strong revival in recent decades, with around 70% of the population speaking it fluently. Some names in the northwest come from Shona and other Bantu languages, which around 12% of the population speaks due to it being the language of the isolated northwestern tribes.
Urban planning
Saduri cities are known in the area for their walkability. Many cities made their centers car-free, especially in recent times due to the rapid development of the nation. During Mateo Tondyaso's rule, the country built a big cycling network linking most of the country's major cities and linked a lot of rural areas to public transit via bus routes. Some of them were shut down or had their service reduced in efforts to lower taxes under Sora-Tauka, however the new DCP government is making efforts to restore parts of the network. Because of that, there will be a lot of bike routes that are clearly visible on the CyclOGF layer and under-construction bus stops mapped in the Saduri Federation.

History
Pre-Trade Unification (The Era of the Five Tribes)
Since the ancient times, the region was governed by five distinct tribal unions: three western and two eastern powers. However in the early 17th century, Kadarú-Mekal, a visionary chieftain of the Uluch tribe successfully united the three western tribes. After getting a good reputation in the region, he also got one of the eastern tribes to gift land next to the Lina River they didn't need for some of his unified nation's possessions and created the city of Saduekuluch on it. Saduekuluch acted as a center for trade where all five tribes could meet, trade, and resolve disputes. However, the subsequent dynasty of emperors abandoned Kadarú-Mekal’s vision of neutrality, launching aggressive, expansionist campaigns to seize the fertile eastern lowlands.

The Era of Ingrean Trade
In the early 1800s, merchants from Ingrea established several treaty ports along Saduria's eastern coastline after signing commercial agreements with local rulers. Saduekuluch rapidly grew into the country's headquarters for diverting the country's exports from all across the country to either other sea ports or directly to the ocean via rivers, linking the interior to overseas markets.
Over the following century, Ingerish engineers, merchants and advisors helped develop modern ports, railways and administrative institutions. As commerce expanded, Ingerish gradually became the common language of business, diplomacy and higher education. Although the country remained politically independent, economic influence from Ingrea became deeply embedded in urban life, especially along the eastern coast.
Modernization & The Great War
By the early 20th century, many Saduris sought to reduce their country's dependence on foreign economic influence while preserving the benefits of international trade. During the second half of the Great War (around the late 1930s), Ingrea's declining global influence allowed Saduria to renegotiate the unequal commercial treaties that had governed relations for over a century. The last ever Ingerish-controlled port was given to Saduria around 2014 after the 99 year lend of Tosedrala from 1915 ended.
The country emerged with full control over its foreign policy, customs and infrastructure, marking the beginning of a new era of national self-determination while maintaining friendly diplomatic and economic relations with Ingrea.
Modern Political Era
The Treaty of Saduekuluch (1949): Following Ingrea's declining influence during the Great War, Saduria successfully negotiated the end of the unequal commercial treaties. Control over customs, foreign affairs and the remaining treaty ports was peacefully transferred to the Saduri government. The treaty is now celebrated annually as Sovereignty Day, one of the country's largest national holidays.
1970s: The Saduri Federation joined the Antarephian Coalition (AC) to speed up its modernization efforts and improve relations across Antarephia.
2010-2020: The nation transitioned into a democratic socialist state under Mateo Tondyaso and the Movement for Popular Unity (MPU). Tondyaso is widely credited with establishing the stability of the modern federation, most notably by solving a conflict about a disputed island chain with neighboring Armitania, which was settled based on the local ethnic distribution, giving the westernmost island to the Federation and the rest to Armitania. (visualization of the disputed land: https://ibb.co/S4hJqWQT)
2020-2025: Sora-Tauka, a member of the Force of Taukan Tradition (FTT) party won the presidency, attempting to centralize power under a patriotic, traditionalist platform.
2025-Present: Following the failure of the conservative reforms, the Democratic Convergence Party (DCP) led by Luis Akukosa was peacefully elected, ushering in the current era of stable, consensus-driven social democracy.
Culture
Saduris often describe their history as "Flow and Foundation." The Foundation represents their deep, immutable Taukan ancestry and tribal roots, while the Flow represents the nation's constant, fluid adaptation to colonial history, trade, and modern progress.
Sports
Sports are a big part of Saduri culture, bringing the nation together:
- Association Football: what unites the nation. "Cross-State Derbies" get western highland and eastern coastal teams to clash, turning stadiums into massive, festive meeting points.
- Legacy Sports: Rugby and Cricket remain staples of the eastern urban centers, a direct cultural inheritance from the Ingerish era.
- Rabú, the regional sport of the Taukans is a big part of Saduri culture, even though it isn't played as often as football or rugby
- Kayaking is also a popular sport, often done in the country's major rivers, the barrier islands south and the eastern coast
Faith
The traditional faith of the Saduri is not an organized religion with dogmatic texts, but rather a nature-centric philosophy focused on maintaining The Balance (Tukebem). Practitioners believe that places, rivers, and forests possess a quiet awareness that must be respected. Even though the Ingerish tried introducing Christianity, most of the population decided to stay with their original beliefs. Today, around 8% of the Saduri population is Christian.
Instead of grand cathedrals, Saduri spirituality is expressed at small, circular stone shrines (kimí) built near natural springs, mountain passes, or deep into forests.
