ForumsTerritory application → Territory application/UL04h Florescenta

Please fill in the information below to make a territory request.
File:Noun Project Signature icon 619326 cc.svgTerritory ID and proposed name
The Territory ID (from OpenGeofiction:Territories, e.g. AR123a) and proposed name of the country

UL04h - Florescenta.

File:Noun Project Map icon 1463108.svgPhysical geography
An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. With the exception of Beginner territories, you should always create a sketch map to illustrate & explain your plans. You can add a link to this (hosted on imgBB, Postimages or similar, but not imgur.com)

As it will be a collaborative territory, things like topography and landuse (woods and farmlands) may be discussed later, with potential collaborators if approved the request.

A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

Basic intention is to keep and respect current things by Andy, the original creator of current mapping. Main cities around these main rivers, etc. Porto Real is located in a nice place to be the capital, etc. Some things may change. Example: Fortaleza do Sul, as name says, "South Fortress", will fit better as name to a southern city, hahaha. Other example: Bocabanga looks more as a brasilian or angolan name, so, maybe we will change it.

A brief description of the intended culture and language

Here is the main reason to ask this territory. As known, Florescenta is like our OGF-Portugal. It is very important in history line of some countries as Brasonia, Cariocas, Tempeira and others where florescentian (portuguese) is spoken.

Well, currently I don't know about any portuguese user in OGF (there was Yuanls, but I think he is no longer an active user), but as portuguese is my mother language (I am brasilian, I think everyone knows it, hahaha), I think I am able to coordinate this territory. I am always talking to Davieerr, and recently, to Tonny, two other brasilian users, who looks interested to help this project.

Important note: If approved my request, users who doesnt speak portuguese will be welcome too.

Davieerr is very good to write a coherent history time line, I am sure he will do a great work about it.

To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful.
The {{coord}}, {{node}}, {{relation}} or {{scalehelper}} templates can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - they result in nicely formatted links. Or you can paste in a URL.

As said, the intention is keeping and detailing current Andy's mapping, but as example of previous work detailing maps, I can mention:
