Tauantua International Airport (WAAT: TVU, ANACA: GTTT) is an airport in Tauantua, Northeast Tavauru County, Tavauru, located roughly 14 km northeast of Faiai'ita, and 6 km northwest of Tui Mau. It is the busiest airport in the country, handling over 10.5 million passengers in 2019, and the sole international gateway for the nation. The airport opened in 1964 and serves as the base for Asperic Airways and Air Tavauru
