Alcortez, officially the State of Alcortez, is a state in the western area of the Federal States of Archanta. Alcortez is bordered by AR120-87 to the north, Tempache to the west, Atascadera to the southwest, Sierra to the south, and AR120-73 to the east. The state features a very large change in elevation, starting from sea level and going all the way to mountains as high as 19,000 ft (5791.2 m). The state also features a diverse collection of climates including vast sprawling plains, sunny subtropical beaches, large agricultural farmlands, wide open valleys, towering mountains, alpine tundra, and arid rocky deserts. The state capital is Kingston, which is also the largest city in the state.
